A Certain Scientific Railgun Season 3 Episode 4 Recap
The episode starts with a mellow vibe where Misaka is finally able to get Shirai out of the hospital. She then announces that she’ll be giving her a treat but instead of asking for anything special, Shirai expresses her lady love by asking for anything that has been half-eaten by her. Misaka gets mad at her again lets out a surge of electricity. Later, Uihara and Saten decide to investigate the grounds of Kirigaoka. Saten goes all the way to the ground, while Uihara stays in touch with her through the phone.
Unexpectedly, someone seemingly attacks Saten. Misaka and Shirai head to her location to rescue her only to discover that it was the Academy’s guards who had stopped her from investigating the grounds. The guards explain to them that even in the past, several people have tried to steal the DNA of espers from the ground, so they have to overly cautious. Soon after this, Misaka realizes that her clone, who had earlier borrowed her clothes, has not returned till now. She frantically starts worrying about her and even makes an attempt to track her. She soon discovers that her clone was found unconscious and was taken to a hospital in an ambulance. When she asks the operators of the ambulance about her, they act all strange and seem to have some skewed up memories of the previous day.
Misaka gets really mad at them and even threatens to attack, but before she can do that, they call the cops on her and she is forced to leave. Because of her misconduct, members of Shokuho Misaki’s clique are asked to keep a close on her and Misaka suspects that they know nothing about Misaki’s ulterior motives and plans. From a distance, she then spots Uihara, Saten, and Shirai heading in her direction and uses them as an excuse to escape. But to her surprise, as soon as she starts talking to her friends, they act like they don’t know her at all. It then hits her that Misaki has probably now managed to use her abilities to get inside their heads as well.
