Andrew Lincoln got his first big break when he was cast as Edgar ‘Egg’ Cook in the popular drama series ‘This Life’ in 1996. Lincoln starred as Christopher Lovell in ‘These Foolish Things’, which released in 2005. He then appeared as Paul in 2006’s ‘Comme t’y es belle’ and as Jamie in ‘Scenes of a Sexual Nature’, which too released in 2006. He also played Robert Bridge in the TV series ‘Afterlife’, which aired from 2005 to 2006. Lincoln played DC Rae in the TV movie ‘The Things I Haven’t Told You’, which aired in 2008 and starred as Joe in 2008’s ‘Play or Be Played’, which too was a TV movie. In 2010, Lincoln played the role of Jonathan in ‘Heartbreaker’ and the character of Mr. Clarke in ‘Made in Dagenham’.
In 2010, he was cast as Rick Grimes in the AMC post-apocalyptic horror television series based on the comic book of the same name titled ‘The Walking Dead’. He became an international star with this role. The series is one of the most popular shows on television right now. Lincoln has received a lot of praise for his performance as Rick Grimes in the series. It sets new viewing records with the premiere of each new season.
