Andrew Lincoln got his first big break when he was cast as Edgar ‘Egg’ Cook in the popular drama series ‘This Life’ in 1996. He also played Robert Bridge in the TV series ‘Afterlife’, which aired from 2005 to 2006. Lincoln played DC Rae in the TV movie ‘The Things I Haven’t Told You’, which aired in 2008 and starred as Joe in 2008’s ‘Play or Be Played’, which too was a TV movie. In 2010, Lincoln played the role of Jonathan in ‘Heartbreaker’ and the character of Mr. Clarke in ‘Made in Dagenham’.
In 2010, he was cast as Rick Grimes in the AMC post-apocalyptic horror television series based on the comic book of the same name titled ‘The Walking Dead’. He became an international star with this role. The series is one of the most popular shows on television right now.
