D-Frag!’ is a comedy anime revolving around games and is set in a school. The premise is funny and entertaining that involves the male lead forcefully joining a club of crazy all-female members. Here’s the list of best anime similar to ‘D-Frag!’ that are our recommendations. 7. Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu (2010)

‘Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu’ takes place in a school setting and indulges in comedy and romance. It also throws a bit of superpower stuff in the mix. It is an entertaining anime with nice visuals. The series has a total of 13 episodes with each episode being around 24 minutes in length. ‘Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu’ and ‘D-Frag!’ share their similarities in terms of setting, character design and humour. If you liked one of the shows there’s a good chance you will like the other.

Akihisa Yoshii is the protagonist of the anime. He attends the Fumizuki Gakuen’s High School which has a segregation rule which divides students into different classes based on their performances. The best of the lot gets to study in A Class where they have air-condition and recliner seats. The worst of the lot has to attend the F Class. The infrastructure of this class is poor with old tables and worn-out mats. Akihisa is in this class but his dreams sore higher than anyone else. He decides to unite his classmates to compete against the elites to get their facilities. Joining him are Mizuki Himeji, the smartest girl in the class, and Yuuji Sakamoto, Akihisa’s closest friend.

6. Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! (2012)

Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!’ is a slice of life genre anime which means it is something to watch when you just want to relax. It does have some light-humor, drama and romance. The series takes place in a school setting. It is an entertaining anime which has certain things in common with ‘D-Frag!’ Both anime have a school setting and feature some light-hearted comedy and romance between the main characters. Both anime give a similar kind of vibe. They are both about imagination and takes a little bit of eccentric path to normal life.

In ‘Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!,’ Chuunibyou is a sort of condition which forces people to believe in their fantasies. This leads to multiple embarrassing situations as believing in fantasy in real life does not go unnoticed. People will judge you and laugh at you. Yuuta Togashi, the male lead of the anime, has this strange condition during his middle school. When he tries to think about his time there he is overwhelmed with embarrassment. He even chooses a high school far from his middle school so that no one is able to recognize him and he can start over. Then comes Rikka Takanashi, the female lead of the anime. She has Chuunibyou and she believes that she is Wicked Eye’s vessel. Can Yuuta move on or will he start falling back to his old self?

5. Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun (2014)

‘Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun’ is an entertaining romantic comedy anime which takes place in a school setting. There are a total of 12 episodes in this anime with each episode being around 24 minutes in length. The anime is kind of popular among people who love the genre. There are certain similarities between ‘Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun’ and ‘D-Frag!.’ Both are romantic comedies taking place in a school setting. The series flows in a slightly off-beat manner.

Umetarou Nozaki is the crush of Chiyo Sakura. She has fallen in love with him but he is oblivious to her. One day she musters up the courage to confess to him but something weird happened. Instead of reacting to her confession in a positive or negative manner Umetarous just handed her an autograph. Turns out he is a Mangaka who publishes under the pen name Sakiko Umeno. Now, things take a different turn as Chiyo ends up becoming the assistant of the Mangaka. The series follows her everyday life as she tries to deal with her new set of responsibilities. The plot also offers some nice humor and will keep you invested in it till the very end.

4. Seitokai Yakuindomo (2010)

Seitokai Yakuindomo‘ slice of life shounen anime which takes place in a school setting. It is a light-hearted anime which is interesting, funny and entertaining. The anime has a total of 13 episodes with each episode being 24 minutes in length. So yeah, you can binge it easily. ‘Seitokai Yakuindomo’ and ‘D-Frag!’ give off a similar vibe. One of the obvious similarities between the two is that of the male character joining an all-female club. Also, both series are not bounded by plots and rather focus on keeping things as funny as possible. So, every episode will provide lots of humor.

Imagine walking into your high school to attend the first day and being appointed as the vice president of student council without having interacted with more than one people or having taken a single class. This is what happens to Takatoshi Tsuda. He enrolls in Ousai Private Academy which has recently become coed being an all-girl academy previously. On his first day, he is caught by the student council president for wearing an untidy uniform. Later, to apologize to him for making him late for his first-class she makes him the vice president. The anime revolves around the eccentric members of the student council who act normal but actually have a freaky side to them.

3. Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou (2012)

Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou‘ is one of the best slice of life anime out there. It is funny and easily relatable. Every episode has multiple setups for funny situations and lots of puns and jokes. The series is a better version of ‘D-Frag!.’ But if you want an anime which has a serious romance plot then this anime might not satisfy you. The series does share certain similarities with ‘D-Frag’  Both shows take place in a school setting while being refreshingly funny and entertaining. The characters are enjoyable and the animation is pretty decent.

‘Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou’ deals mainly with four characters. Three of the characters are male and close friends named Hidenori, Yoshitake and Tadakuni. They attend Sanada North High School which is an all-boys institution. The boys are very imaginative and often indulge in grand fantasies with themes of true love and giant robots. But in real life, they are just an ordinary bunch of teenagers trying to get by life. But that doesn’t mean that their days are any less interesting than a good RPG game or an entertaining movie.

2. Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai (2011)

If you want your slice of life anime to contain some Ecchi stuff then ‘Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai’ has got you covered. It is a slice of life anime which takes place mainly in a school setting and deals with comedy, romance, Harem, and Hcchi stuff. So, if such things interest you, then you should give it a try. The premise of ‘Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai’ and ‘D-Frag!’ are kind of similar. They both take place in a school setting. Both have their male leads fall into a club which is weird and has eccentric female members. These two anime try their best to be as funny as possible.

Kodaka Hasegawa’s past experiences in school aren’t any good. So, when he learns that he is being transferred to another school, the boy is determined not to screw up at the new place. But he is an unfortunate fellow since on the very first day people start judging him for his looks and label him a delinquent. A month passes by and the situation remains the same. But then Kodaka finds Yozora Mikazuki who is also a loner tagged as a delinquent. Together they share their stories of loneliness and agreed upon to form a club for people like them. Soon, members start coming and each of them is sort of an ‘odd-one-out.’ The anime is fun and if you enjoyed ‘D-Frag!’, you might like this one too.

‘Gj-bu’ is another slice of life anime which revolves around school-life and is light-hearted at the core. The goal of the anime is to make you laugh and relax. The series has a total of 12 episodes with each episode being around 23 minutes in length. The anime is very similar to ‘D-Frag!.’ Both give off similar vibes and have a similar premise which includes characters with odd personalities and a weird club with eccentric members.

The anime features a male character who gets reeled into a club which is sort of an obscure ensemble filled with eccentric members. He feels like a fish out of water in the club which consists of weird female characters. His life is going to be quite interesting at this club.
