‘Into the Wild’ is easily one of the most inspirational movies of all time. Based on the true story of Christopher McCandless, who after graduating from Emory University, abandoned his possessions, gave his entire savings account to charity, and hitchhiked to Alaska to live in the wilderness. Along the way, Christopher encounters a series of characters who shape his life.
It’s a film that can teach you several different things, but primarily it is about how material possessions are of no value in living a full life. It is the experiences that count, and not money or success.
