Black Clover Plot and Spoilers:
Asta and Yuno are the two main characters of ‘Black Clover’ who were left behind at a church by their parents. Having no family of their own, the two boys grow up together as brothers and spend literally every minute of their lives together. Soon, they get so close that they even start sharing the same dream of becoming the mighty Wizard King someday. With this, the two boys start training to become better at magic and promise each other that someday they’ll be one of the competitors for the position of the strongest mage in the kingdom.
As several days go by, Yuno just keeps getting better at summoning some advanced magic. However, on the other hand, Asta still seems to be far away from his dreams as he is still not able to perform any magic at all. With time, Yuno just gets even better while Asta tries to make up for his lack of magical talent by putting himself through some grueling physical training.
When the two boys turn 15, because of all the magical talent that he shows at such a young age, Yuno is granted the prestigious Grimoire with a four-leaf clover. But to Asta’s dismay, he still struggles to summon even the most basic kind of magic and gets absolutely nothing. Soon after this, a man named Lebuty tries to steal Yuno’s Grimoire and that’s when Asta tries to stop him. However, his physical strength falls flat in front of Lebuty’s magical abilities and he gets overpowered very easily.
Realizing that only he can help his friend, Asta suddenly lets loose all of his buried potential and acquires the magical abilities he needs to defeat Lebuty. This is when he, too, is bestowed with the Grimoire with a four-leaf clover—known as the “Black Clover”—that gives him enough strength to defeat Lebuty and save Asta. After getting past this first major challenge as magicians, the two boys embark on their journey to become the Wizard King they’ve always aspired to be.
