The show has received critical acclaim starting from its second season premiere. The show has been nominated for seven Primetime Emmys and a couple of Golden Globes. It is ABC’s one of the most acclaimed and popular comedies. The show has been created by Kenya Barris and it premiered on ABC on September 24, 2014.

Black-ish Season 5 Cast: Who is in it?
All of the main cast members from the previous season return for the fifth season including Anthony Anderson as Dre, Tracee Ellis Ross as Rainbow, Marcus Scribner as Andre Jr., Miles Brown as Jack, Marsai Martin as Diane, Jenifer Lewis as Ruby, Laurence Fishburne as Pops, Peter Mackenzie as Mr. Stevens and Deon Cole as Charlie Telphy. The same will be expected for season 6. Other recurring cast members are also expected to be back for the next season. Yara Shahidi as Zoe was dropped from the main cast, as her character now has her own spin-off show, Grown-ish.
