Black-ish Season 5 Plot: What is it about?

The series highlight Dre (portrayed by Anthony Anderson) who finds himself struggling to find his cultural identity living in a white neighbourhood with his kids and wife, Bow (Tracee Ellis Ross).

With season 5, Dre will be “focusing on the new things life throws at the family.” The show also focuses on the problems of an upper-middle-class family and expect to see more problems next season. But whatever turns the show may take, it will continue to entertain us with its witty and funny jokes and situations.

Tracy Ellis Ross is proud of the way Kenya Barris, the showrunner has set up the series. She said, “Kenya set up a really specific tone that we live in on our show. It sort of established the DNA of what “Black-ish” is that I feel like we can kind of handle anything because there’s such specificity to where we live. We really are not a broad comedy, but some of the things we do are very big, but we’re really grounded in the reality of who these people are.”

No actual plot points for season 6 of the show are known at this time, but the show will probably continue to tackle problems faced by African-Americans in America. We will update the plot when new information about it emerges, so be sure to check back with us for more information.
