Bob’s Burgers Season 10 Episode 14 Recap:
The episode begins with a new project in Wagstaff School, which is in dire need of a new school spirit song. Since the existing one is outdated and inappropriate, Mr. Fond believes that they require a more upbeat number to reflect the values of the institute. He asks the students to compose lyrics and tells them that the best song would be voted as the winner.
Tina grabs on this opportunity since she thinks that this is a golden chance for her name to be penned in the school’s history. But the issue is, she lacks the primary requirement to write a song — creativity. Hence, she cannot create anything meaningful. All the other school children, including Louise and Gene, pen down worthy lyrics. Only Tina has nothing to present on the day of submissions.
Mr. Fond, however, is a bit skeptical about the writing prowess of the rest of the kids. So he sits down with Tina and helps her in writing her song. Fond even tries to rig the votes but Tina, who cannot deal with a guilty conscience, decides to perform her own original song.
In another subplot, Jimmy Pesto sets up a new awning, which is made from recycled Ferrari bumpers. Bob is not at all pleased with the unattractive canopy, which reflects sunlight directly into his restaurant. He tries to coerce Jimmy into putting it down. But Jimmy does not agree because although he himself hates it, he keeps the canopy just to irk Bob further.
