When is My Hero Academia Season 4 Episode 20 Release Date?
My Hero Academia Season 4 Episode 20 Spoilers: What to Expect?
Episode 19 is yet another filler that revolves around Class 1-A’s preparation for the school festival. Initially, some of them question why they’re celebrating during a time when they have bigger issues to focus on. Katsuki asks Eraserhead if it is necessary for them to be part of it when the world outside is looming with the threat of deadly villains. Eraserhead explains to him that their school has students from all kinds of courses. This particular event holds a lot of importance for them and that’s the reason why they, too, are expected to participate. With this, they begin preparing for events and split themselves into groups based on what they’re good at.
Kyoko becomes the leader of the band as she already knows how to play many instruments. She even impresses everyone with her incredible singing voice. Mina, who has always been known for being a great breakdancer, leads the dancing team. In the meantime, a villain named Gentle, who was introduced in episode 18, makes plans to create an impact on the world and make a name for himself. At first, he just seemed like a wannabe villain who wanted fame and recognition in a world where having quirks is no biggie. But now, it seems like he has a big plan and his prime target will be the school’s festival.
In the next episode, the major reveal will be Gentle’s big plan for making a name for himself in a world where no one’s really taking him too seriously for now. And since he’s targetting a school full of powerful aspiring heroes, it won’t be easy for him to pull off whatever he’s planning to do. Apart from that, we’ll also get to see Eri having fun for the first time and we might get to see her smile as well. Since she has spent most of her life in captivity, she’ll probably be a little shy initially. But Deku and Togata will make sure that she feels right at home with them. Also, if Gentle’s plan has something to do with her, he’ll have to first get through Deku and Togata to get anywhere close to her.
In the 20th episode, we’ll also get to see more of Deku trying to gain control of his quirk. All Might has already shown him the path that he has to tread to further level up his newly discovered strength. Since he has no control over it, for now, he’ll have to completely dedicate himself to learning everything that All Might has been trying to teach him. The anime hasn’t really made any major revelations about the league of villains yet, but from what we can guess, Gentle might have some links to it. Right now, he just seems to be a solo villain who’s chasing fame, but later, his plans of dominating the heroes and proving his worth as a villain might have something to do with the league of villains.
The first half of the next episode will probably not have any action and will, instead, have more of a feel-good vibe to it where all the heroes will try to put up a good show and have a good time. In the second half, we can expect more revelations of what Gentle truly wants and what he’s trying to do. It is also possible that his desire for fame is an outcome of something much bigger. But for now, we’ll just have to wait and see what this anime has in store for us.
