How did Brock Lesnar earn his money and wealth?

Brock Lesnar is a professional wrestler and a mixed martial artist. He also used to be a former football player. He is from the United States and was born as Brock Edward Lesnar on July 12, 1977, in Webster, South Dakota. He is of German ancestry. He grew up on a farm with his parents, two older brothers, Troy and Chad and a younger sister, Brandi. He joined the Army National Guards at the age of 17 and was given an office job as his red-green colorblindness was deemed dangerous to his wish to work with explosives. He failed a computer typing test and was subsequently fired. He later joined a construction company. While growing up he attended Webster High School where he competed in amateur wrestling as well as playing football. In his senior year, he was placed third in the state championship for amateur wrestling. He decided to join Bismarck State College and during his sophomore year won the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) heavyweight championship.

He got transferred to the University of Minnesota on a wrestling scholarship during his junior and senior years. Coincidently, his roommate was Shelton Benjamin who later became a WWE colleague as well as assistant coach. During college, Lesnar became the runner-up and lost to Stephen Neal in 1999 but won the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I heavyweight wrestling championship in 2000 during his senior year. His amateur career included the following titles: two-time NJCAA All-American, NJCAA Heavyweight Championship in 1998, two-time Big Ten Conference Champion, two-time NCAA All-American and NCAA Heavyweight Champion in 2000. He has a record of 106-5 overall in four years of college.

Lesnar started his professional career by joining the World Wrestling Federation in 2000. He was sent to its development territory Ohio Valley Wrestling where he met Paul Heyman, who later became his friend and manager. He also reunited with his former roommate Shelton Benjamin and started a tag team called “The Minnesota Stretching Crew”. Between 2001 and 2002, Lesnar wrestled in several dark matches until he was selected for the WWF’s main roster.

He big television debut for the WWF was on March 18, 2002, through the show “Raw” where he was the heel who was being instructed by Paul Heyman. He attacked as a heel Al Snow, Spike Dudley, and Maven. He got his nickname “The Next Big Thing” from his agent and friend Paul Heyman. Lesnar has fought with many other wrestlers like The Hardy Boyz, Bubba Ray Dudley, The Rock, The Undertaker, Big Show, John Cena, Paul London and Eddie Guerrero amongst others and has defeated them and retained many of his wrestling titles.

Lesnar is married to Rena Greek and has three children: two sons, Turk and Duke and Greek’s daughter with her late husband. They live on a farm in Maryfield, Saskatchewan. He also has twins Mya Lynn and Luke from his previous relationship with Nicole McClain.
