The series lasted from 1985 to 1989. Bruce Willis was born to David Willis and Marlene with the father being a soldier from America while the mother was from Germany. David was the eldest of his siblings with a sister named Florence and brother name David while the third sibling named Robert died of cancer in the Pancreas at the age of 42.

Post graduation in the year 1973, Bruce took the job of a security guard for the Salem Nuclear Power Plant. He also worked as a private investigator which later on became a source of inspiration for his role in the TV series named “Moonlighting” and also in the movie named “The Last Boy Scout”. After this, Willis moved forward to his career in acting. He enrolled himself in a drama program at the Montclair State University where he acted in the play named “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof”. Willis moved to NY in the year 1977 where he worked as a bartender.

In the year 1984, Willis was a part of an episode in a TV series named “Miami Vice”. The title of the episode was “No Exit”.

Willis became a renowned actor with his smashing hits such as “Die Hard” and “Armageddon”. His movie “The Sixth Sense” was acclaimed for a great portrayal of a psychologist which was different from his roles as a tough guy.
