Castlevania Season 2 Plot: What is it about?

The season finale ended with Dracula’s son Alucard joining forces with his former foe Trevor and Sypha, the next season could also see Alucard joining forces with the likes of wolfman and Frankenstien to take down his father. Netflix has not yet released the official plot or synopsis for season 2 but there is no absolute harm in speculating the events that will follow the series finale of season 1.

Producer Adi Shankar had this to say regarding the upcoming season 2, “I’m not a fan of the make it up as you go along type of storytelling, There is a master plan for the show. We’ve had the opportunity to create this language – it’ll be fun to deconstruct it at some point”.

According to Warren Ellis, the screenwriter behind the series stated: “We’re coming back this summer,” he says, “for eight episodes.” There’s no word from the streaming service as to when in the summer the series will return. Given the July release of Season 1, though, it’s a safe bet the new episodes will bow around that same window of time.
