Castlevania Season 3: Premeire Date, Cast, Trailer, Spoilers & News

Castlevania is an American animated web television series, inspired by the Konami’s video game Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse. The series was originally planned as a film by producer Kevin Kolde and his company Project 51, with the art style of the series heavily influenced by that of Japanese anime and Ayami Kojima’s artwork in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night; which is about a grief-stricken Dracula, who takes revenge against humanity for the death of his wife.

The first season saw Dracula’s wife burned at the stake after being falsely accused of witchcraft. The vampire, Count Vlad Dracula Tepes is saddened with the loss of his wife and decides to take revenge against the people of Wallachia. To combat Vlad Tepes’s reign of terror from the monsters Dracula has unleashed upon the people of Wallachia, the disgraced demon hunter Trevor Belmont takes up arms against Dracula’s forces, aided by the magician Sypha Belnades and Dracula’s half-vampire son Alucard. The series remained the 7th most in-demand digital original show in the United States through October 11, 2017.

The critics gave Castlevania favourable reviews and it currently holds an aggregate of 86% on Rotten Tomatoes. Castlevania was praised for its strong focus on the narrative and visuals.
