How did Chamillionaire earn his money and wealth?

Chamillionaire is the stage name of Hakeem Seriki, who is from Houston, Texas. He, is a renowned American rapper, singer, entrepreneur, and investor. On November 28, 1979, he was born to a Muslim Nigerian father and an African-American Christian mother in Washington D.C., and at the age of 4 moved to Houston, Texas.  

Chamillionaire started off his career independently with local releases in 2002, including collaboration album, ‘Get Ya Mind Correct’.  In 2005, he joined with Universal Records and released ‘The Sound of Revenge’ under Universal. The album consists of solo hits, “Turn It Up” and the Number#1 hit “Ridin'”. After toiling hard, finally, in 2007 he tasted success, and won the Grammy Award for the Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for “Ridin’”. Later, Chamillionaire got featured in his most anticipated Mixtape Messiah series, which ran from 2004 to 2009. His second paramount album, ‘Ultimate Victory’ was released on September 18, 2007.

In 2011, Chamillionaire left Universal Records for his upcoming third album, ‘Venom’, which could not get released. In March 2012, he released his first ever independent extended play Ammunition, which proved to be his first major release, after he left the label. On 17th January 2013, he introduced his new extended play and on 12th February 2013, the EP, titled ‘Elevate’, was released. The EP consists of 7 songs and features no artists. And shortly after his third EP, on 23rd July 2013,’ Reignfall’ was released. Then, on 13th February 2014, he released his first single of the year titled, ‘Watching Breaking Bad’.

In early 2015, Chamillionaire joined Los Angeles largest early-stage fundraised, firm, ‘Upfront Ventures’. He is the co-owner of a Houston based auto dealer- Fly Rydes. He also owns a tour bus company, in which he invested in 2003. The company is very popular in Texas and specializes in customizing cars. In 2004, he founded his own record label, Chamillitary Entertainment, containing 20+ releases. He is also the founder and an original member of the rap group, “The color changing’ Click” until the group split in 2005.

In 2009, he also invested in Maker Studios, which is an online video talent network that later got acquired by Disney for $500 million. He also started a modeling company, called Masterpiece Mind Frame. The estimated income of Chamillionaire is $1,746,706 US Dollar and his earnings from Sponsorship or Endorsement is around $392,157.
