Channel Zero Season 5: Premiere Date, Cast, Trailer, Spoilers & News

Channel Zero is a horror anthology series created by Nick Antosca. I loved the first season, I loved the second, third and the fourth season and I can’t wait for the fifth season. It is a show you can’t get enough off and SyFy knows this. This is why they announced the show’s renewal for a fourth season even before the third season aired. When season 5 is renewed, we hope it’s scarier and more suspenseful than its previous seasons and brings another scary creepypasta onto the screen.

Channel Zero Season 4 Cast: Who is in it?

Every season of the ‘Channel Zero’ franchise has a new cast. This is a trademark of the show since every season they bring in a new creepypasta with new characters their casts get a reset. But with season 4, a familiar face as Brandon Scott, who played a part in season 1, returns to play the role of Tom Hodgson a married man who returns with his wife to his childhood home. We see Marla Sten as Tom’s onscreen wife Jillian Hope Hodgson. Steven Robertson portrays the character of Ian the Hodgson’s neighbour. Steven Weber plays the role of Jillian’s psychiatrist. We have no clue as to what season 5 will bring but we will update this section the moment we know. So, stay tuned!

Channel Zero Season 4 Plot: What is it about?

The plot of the ‘Channel Zero’ series is always inspired by some famous and scary creepypasta. It is very inventive and ingenious since they don’t have to think of a new plot, just have to sit down and scroll through the internet or call a creepypasta nerd like me (I don’t know why SyFy hasn’t called yet). Just kidding, I like the concept of the show. Season 4 is based on another scary creepypasta ‘I Found a Hidden Door in My Cellar, and I Think I’ve Made a Big Mistake’ written by Charlotte ByWater. To read the story click here. The basic plot is that a married couple decides to move to the husband’s childhood home. Once there, trouble starts brewing when they find a hidden door in the house’s basement. The creators decided to name this season as ‘Channel Zero: The Dream Door’.

The official synopsis of season 4 reads, “newlyweds Jillian and Tom, who have each brought secrets into their marriage. When they discover a strange door in their basement, those secrets threaten to destroy their relationship and their lives.” Let’s see how scary season 5 turns out.

Channel Zero Season 5 Release Date: When will it premiere?

Season 4 premiered on October 26, 2018. Channel Zero is yet to fair on the viewership front. An unverified redditor who may be part of the team of Channel zero commented on the forum, “I think if we released it on Netflix or Hulu and people could [marathon] the first three seasons for free we could get a huge uptick in viewership.”

There is plenty of material to base season 5 on and buzzing excitement amongst the crew to create another season. “I’ve discussed concepts for a fifth and sixth season with the studio,” showrunner Nick Antosca commented in the Channel Zero subreddit. “I don’t know yet when we’ll know, but everyone on the creative team is excited about doing more.” Stay tuned to find out what happens.
