How did Charles Manson earn his money and wealth?

Charles Manson was born on 12th November 2017 in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. Manson is an American criminal and cult leader of a quasi-commune in California namely Manson Family. He spent his childhood in many juvenile correction facilities and reform schools. In 1956, he was imprisoned for 3 years at Terminal Island. He was continually held responsible for federal crimes and failed to appear at the hearing during his probation period. He was again arrested in 1960 and sentenced to 10 years imprisonment.

The following year he was sent to United States Penitentiary at McNeil Island from Los Angeles County Jail. From there he took guitar lessons from Alvin “Creepy” Karpis, the leader of Barker-Karpis gang. He was released in the year 1967. By the time he had spent more than half of his life in prison and correction homes. He was 32 years old then and told the authorities that prison had become his home and requested permission to stay. In 1971, he was again arrested for seven counts of first -degree murder. He was sentenced to death this time. But it was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1972 when the death penalty was ruled unconstitutional.

In 1981, Manson gave an interview at California Medical Facility which was aired by Tom Snyder for NBC’s The Tomorrow Show. His second interview was recorded in 1986 at San Quentin State Prison and aired on CBS News Nightwatch by Charlie Rose. The interview won Emmy Award for “Best Interview” in the following year. His next interview was conducted by Geraldo Rivera in 1988. It was apart of journalist’s prime-time special on Satanism. In 1989, Manson gave another interview to Nikolas Schreck. He cut the interview up for his documentary Charles Manson Superstar. In 2007, MSNBC aired a complete version of his interview in 1987 at San Quentin State Prison as The Mind of Manson.

In 1970, his album LIE was released. The album included “ Cease to Exist” which was composed by Manson. The family recorded two compact discs of Mason’s song in the title The Family Jams. The guitar and lead vocals were given by Steve Gorgan.  In 2010, Manson recorded an album of pop songs titled Completion. The album remains unreleased of which 5 copies were only pressed.

Manson died on 19th November 2017 in Bakersfield, California, USA. Director Quentin Tarantino is developing a movie on Charles Manson named Once Upon a Time in Hollywood that will star Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt in the lead roles. If sources are to be believed, the movie will release in the second quarter of 2019.
