Where to Stream Charlie’s Angels?

Charlie’s Angels have made one thing clear, these women are no saints. The 2000 movie, ‘Charlie’s Angels’ comes from McG. It is an action-comedy film that is based on the series of the same name. The show has been created by Ivan Goff and Ben Roberts, and the film continues its story. While the series had its share of dramatic elements, the movie chooses to do away with that, focusing on the comedic elements instead.

With a stellar cast including the likes of Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, and Lucy Liu, ‘Charlie’s Angels’ drew crowds who wanted to see the beautiful angels in action. However, the film itself had a good plot and was praised for its moments of comedy as well as performances. Upon its release, ‘Charlie’s Angels’ also went on to start a franchise, that was followed by ‘Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle’ and the upcoming 2019 movie of the same name.

Naturally, you must be wondering where you can catch this deadly team of female spies in action. However, before we tell you about where to stream ‘Charlie’s Angels’, let us walk you through the plot of the movie.

What is Charlie’s Angels About?

‘Charlie’s Angels’ introduces us to three smart and attractive private investigators, Natalie, Dylan, and Alex. They work for the titular Charlie, who is a millionaire, making it a point to remain behind the scenes. He communicates with them over the phone, remaining unseen, while his assistant, Bosley, helps out in missions when needed.

The Angels are soon assigned to a mission where they must rescue Knox, a software genius who has created a revolutionary voice recognition system. Eric Knox, the head of his company Knox Enterprises, is now believed to have been kidnapped. The prime suspect is Corwin, who runs a communications satellite company called Redstar. The Angels infiltrate a party that Corwin is hosting, where they see a suspicious man who was seen lurking around in the surveillance videos of Knox’s kidnapping. The Angels dub him the ‘Thin Man’ and track him. A fight breaks out, wherein the man escapes, but the Angels are able to find Knox nearby, safe, but tied up.

They rescue Knox, but Charlie informs them that the mission is not yet over. They must discover if the Thin Man has stolen the software. The Angels undertake a highly dangerous operation of infiltrating Redstar’s headquarters. They manage to fool the security system and plant a device to allow them to access and monitor Redstar’s central computer securely. Giving Bosley access, the Angels retire for the night. Knox and Dylan spend the night together, having sex. However, Knox betrays her soon after, as attacks are made on Natalie and Alex as well. Bosley is captured by Vivian, Knox’s partner, while Corwin is killed by the Thin Man. It turns out that Knox’s kidnapping was faked in order to get the Angels involved, so they would do the heavy lifting of granting Knox access to Corwin’s satellite system. The man plans to use the combined technology to hunt down the reclusive and elusive Charlie, who Knox believes to have killed his father during the Vietnam War.

Dylan, Alex, and Natalie reunite, having survived the attacks. Bosley meanwhile, manages to establish contact with the Angels and relays limited information to them about where he is being held. However, it is enough to allow them to track him down to a lighthouse. Dylan gets captured by Knox and his henchmen and has to watch helplessly as he triangulates Charlie’s location. Although the Angels cannot nip Knox’s plan in the bud, they rescue Bosley, with Dylan managing to put up a fight even though she is tied to the chair. Eventually, they manage to board the same helicopter that Knox takes to destroy Charlie’s abode.

Alex reprograms the helicopter’s missile to fire backward, killing Knox, while the Angels and Bosley land safely on the beach. The Angels feel that they deserve to meet Charlie in person and head to the location that Knox triangulated. However, they find out that it has been abandoned, as Charlie calls them once again, congratulating them, and saying that they have earned a vacation. He explains that he did not kill Knox’s father, and eventually the Angels decide to let the matter go, getting in the mood for their vacation. In the distance, Charlie watches them with Bosley. Now, let us tell you where to watch ‘Charlie’s Angels’.
