‘Chicago Fire’ Season 8 Episode 15 is titled ‘Off the Grid’. It will release on February 26, 2020, Wednesday, on NBC at 9 pm EST/8 pm CST.
Yes, there’s a gap of one week between the 14th and 15th episodes. But we bet, it’s worth the wait. Why? Well, the upcoming episode will feature an epic, two-hour cross-over event between ‘Chicago Fire’ and ‘Chicago P.D.’ The episode will begin at 9 p.m ET with ‘Chicago Fire’ season 8 episode 15 and conclude with ‘Chicago P.D.’ season 7 episode 15 at 11 p.m ET.
Here’s how the synopsis goes: “In a two-show crossover event with “Chicago P.D.,” a series of teen opioid overdoses sees Severide partner with Sean Roman (Brian Geraghty), but begins to suspect there’s more to the story than his old friend is telling him. Casey tries to be there for Brett as she considers her birth mother’s offer to meet.”

Chicago Fire Season 8 Episode 14 Recap:
Firehouse 51 is called in to investigate a gas leak and the crew cannot locate the source. As they try to figure it out, the entire building blows off and there is a mother-daughter duo trapped in the premises. The firefighters are able to rescue the victims but one of their new members gets injured. Even the little girl who was inside the house suffers from serious burns and is in a coma.
In the next shift, the team gets another call. This time, it is from a salon, which again suspects a gas leak. With people still inside, the 51 crew takes everyone outside and then attempts to investigate the source of the leak. It seemed weird that the area was suddenly facing so many similar incidents. Further probing reveals that the issue is with the gas company. The had been pushing gas even when the valves were off. After a discussion with the company, the owners agree on shutting off the gas supply for the time being.
But again, there is another explosion. And this time, the gas company is able to pinpoint the issue. It is a pressure situation. They solve the problem once and for all. Meanwhile, Casey and Brett read the letter from the former’s biological mother and learn her name.
