How did Chris Cornell earn his money and wealth?

Chris Cornell, real name Christopher John Cornell, was born on 20 July 1964 in Washington, US to Edward F. Boyle and Karen Cornell. He had 5 siblings named Peter, Patrick, Katy, Suzy as well as Maggie. He attended the Christ King Catholic elementary school where for the first time he performed in front of an audience and sang the song, ‘One Tin Soldier.’ Chris later went to Shorewood High School and loved listening to his large collection of The Beatles. Chris was a loner in his childhood days and dealt with his anxiety through rock music. Chris Cornell died in May 2017 due to suicide by hanging.

Chris Cornell was not only an American musician but also a singer and songwriter. Before he became a successful musician, Chris worked as a dishwasher, busboy, fishmonger and as a sous-chef at a restaurant called ‘Ray’s Boathouse.’ In the early 1980s, Chris joined the band ‘The Shemps’ and became friends with Hiro Yamamoto. In the year 1996, the band ‘Soundgarden’ released its album ‘Down on the Upside’ which included the singles ‘Blow Up the Outside World’, ‘Pretty Noose,’ as well as ‘Burden in My Hand’. However, the album did not do that well commercially.

Chris later started writing as well as recording along with the guitarist Alain Johannes and the keyboardist Natasha Shneider of the band titled ‘Eleven.’ Chris released his solo album titled “Euphoria Morning” in the year 1999. In the year 2001, Chris collaborated with 3 other musical pioneers and formed ‘Audioslave.’ The second album of ‘Audioslave’ released in the year 2005, went on to peak at the top of the Billboard 200 music chart.

The band later released its third album ‘Revelations’ in the year 2006. The same year, Chris co-wrote as well as performed the theme song titled ‘You Know My Name’ for the James Bond movie ‘Casino Royale.’ ‘Carry On,’ his second solo album was released in the year 2007 in collaboration with his friend the iconic guitarist, Gary Lucas. In the year 2009, he released his third solo album called ‘Scream.’

In the year 2010, ‘Soundgarden’ released their retrospective album called ‘Telephantasm.’ In the year 2011, Chris released the song ‘The Keeper.’ He released live album ‘Songbook’ in late 2011. Later in September 2015, Chris released a studio album titled ‘Higher Truth’ which received favorable reviews from music critics. Before his untimely death, his last solo single titled ‘The Promise’ released in March 2017.
