How did Columbus Short earn his money and wealth?

Columbus Short was born on September 19, 1982. He is an American choreographer, singer and actor. He choreographed Onyx Hotel Tour of Britney Spears and worked with Brian Friedman. He acted in many television shows and movies and won many awards for his contribution to the film industry. Short’s made his debut in acting as a dancer in You Got Served and he later acted in Accepted, starring Justin Long. He then grabbed lead roles in the direct-to-DVD movie Save the Last Dance 2 starring along with Izabella Miko and Stomp the Yard. He has also appeared two times in the Disney Channel Original Hit Series That’s So Raven in the role of Trey, a member of the fictional boy band “Boyz n’ Motion”. In 2006, he performed in Studio 60 of NBC on the Sunset Strip as the show-writer Darius Hawthorne. He was one of the presenters at the NAACP Image Awards held in 2007.

In 2007, Columbus featured in the flick, This Christmas starring alongside Lauren London and Chris Brown. In 2008, Short featured in the movie Quarantine, starring opposite Jay Hernandez and Jennifer Carpenter, and played the role of musician Little Walter in Cadillac Records, with Beyoncé Knowles, Jeffrey Wright, and Oscar-winning actor Adrien Brody. In 2010, he played “Pooch” in the film The Losers, a movie based on the graphic novel, starring alongside Chris Evans, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Zoe Saldana.

Earlier he starred in a regular role in the ABC drama Scandal, in the role of Harrison Wright. In 2014, it was declared that Short would leave the series, Scandal after working for three seasons with the show. Short was married to Brandi Short, but both were separated in 2003. Together they have one son. After his break up with Brandi, He married dancer Tanee McCall in 2005. In September 2013, she filed for divorce, and again in 2014, she again filed for divorce. They have one daughter, Ayala.

In 2014, Short begged guilty to crime domestic violence. Short also evaded jail by pleading no contest to a misdemeanor assault charge after throwing a punch at his in-law. Short says he was being teased and acted in self-defense, and his in-law confessed he had removed his shirt and was set to fight Short. In an interview with the channel Access Hollywood Live, Short said that element abuse, both intoxication, and cocaine use due to the pressure of family issues and personal loss, led to his exit from Scandal.
