Now, if you are wondering about a second edition, here’s the thing. ‘Curon’ ends on a satisfactory note and yet, leaves enough scope for a new outing. Therefore, ratings will play an important role in the final decision. One good thing going for the series is that it has garnered rave reviews from fans and critics alike. Hence, we are hopeful that Netflix will confirm season 2 in the coming months. Once that happens, we can expect ‘Curon’ season 2 to release sometime in 2022.

We also have Anna Ferzetti as Klara, Juju Di Domenico as Micki, Luca Castellano as Lukas, Giulio Brizzi as Giulio, Max Malatesta as Ober, and Alessandro Tedeschi as Albert. Thomas is Anna’s dad. Albert is a forest ranger and Anna’s ex. He’s married to Klara but it seems he still has feelings for his ex-flame. Season 2, as and when it happens, is expected to see all the lead stars reprise their original roles.

Curon Season 2 Plot: What Can it be About?

‘Curon’ follows a woman named Anna who returns to her mysterious village after 17 years of staying away from her hometown. But after her arrival in the family-owned hotel, she suddenly vanishes. Her children, Daria and Mauro, try to locate her but in their quest, they unravel a shadowy, dangerous family legacy. The twins also discover that the town is cursed. While Mauro is deaf, Daria shares a complex relationship with her mum. And the headstrong sister will go to any lengths to protect her sweet, naive brother.

As the episodes progress, ‘Curon’s lingering mystery unravels bit by bit — with our young teens leading the story. Without any spoilers, let’s tell you that the seventh and final episode wraps up all the hanging threads perfectly. But it also leaves a lot of room for new stories to be imagines! Remember ‘The Haunting of Hill House‘? Yes, something similar. In the upcoming season, we expect the twins to delve deeper into some of the yet-unresolved mysteries plaguing the eerie village.
