Ghost was nominated for the Academy Award in the category of Best Picture, and Moore was nominated for her outstanding performance for Golden Globe Award.

In The same year, she co-produced and featured in the mystery thriller Mortal Thoughts and romantic comedy The Butcher’s Wife. In butcher’s wife, it was the first time appeared as Blonde. Both movies failed to mark their presence on the big screen. In 1991, Moore did a supporting role in the comedy movie, Nothing but Trouble, directed by Dan Aykroyd. The movie was a big flop and most of the blame for its box office failure had gone to its director Dan Aykroyd.
