Emmys 2020 Nominations Announced

The nominations for Emmys 2020 has been announced. Unsurprisingly, HBO’s Watchmen leads the nominee list with a total of 26 nominations. Amazon comedy The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is the second most-nominated series with 20, followed by Netflix’s Ozark with 18. The Mandalorian, Stranger Things, The Crown,  Mrs. America, The Handmaid’s Tale, Better Call Saul, and Unbelievable also scored big.

The 72nd Annual Emmy Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, is scheduled to take place on September 20th. Though it is still unclear if the ceremony will be virtual or in person. In any case, here’s the full list of major nominations.
