Gold Rush, Discovery’s famous gold-scavenging series, seems to have no end and even the featured crews do not appear to show any signs of slowing down anytime soon. In fact, its first season, then titled Gold Rush: Alaska became the most-watched Friday night program in the US among men aged 18 to 49 and women aged 25 to 54.

The reality title ramped up Discovery’s ratings and season 6 claimed a rank among the top three shows on the channel, followed by Fast N’ Loud and Alaskan Bush People. 10 seasons in and Gold Rush has managed to stay strong, and continues to remain smash-hit series for the cable network. So that definitely raises the next question: when will Gold Rush season 11 release? Let’s find out.

Gold Rush Season 11 Release Date: When will it premiere?

Gold Rush season 10 released on October 11, 2019, on Discovery, and came to an end on March 6, 2020, after a run of 21 episodes.

Now, as far as the next season goes, here’s what we know. Discovery hasn’t made any announcement about renewal yet. But that shouldn’t be a cause of concern because of one simple reason: ratings. Gold Rush has been a consistent performer for the network. Moreover, the show’s free-flowing structure allows the makers to keep going without worrying about a storyline. The adventurous spirits of Parker Schnabel, Rick Ness and Tony Beets, along with his family, are enough to keep the audiences entertained.

Keeping everything in mind, we expect the show to continue for a few more seasons. In fact, given how the show always premieres in the month of October, it is quite easy to guess that Gold Rush season 11 will release sometime in October 2020. Hopefully, Discovery will confirm the above details soon.

Gold Rush Season 11 Cast: Who Can be in it?

Well, can you imagine Gold Rush without the trio of Parker Schnabel, Rick Ness, and Tony Beets? We expect all of them to be back in season 11, along with their mining crew and families. Though, it will be interesting to see what location each of them chooses in season 11 to carry out their mining. Obviously, we can’t wait for the next season to start.

What is Gold Rush about?

We all know the basic premise of Gold Rush. Miners Parker Schnabel, Tony Beets, and Rick Ness scour the remotest of lands in order to achieve the American dream. However, season 10 raises the stakes even higher. The miners obviously have a lot of major challenges to deal with but another new difficulty arrives in the form of permits. The season additionally starts off with a huge crisis in the Klondike and the miners find it excessively risky to explore new grounds.

While Rick moves his operations to the mountains over the historic mining town of Keno City in the Yukon, Parker Schnabel also lands in trouble because of water permitting issues. He needs to mine as much gold as possible before the season is over. Even Tony Beets faces permit trouble and has to depend on Kevin, Monica, and Mike, to search for new sites.

Season 11 is expected to chronicle the quests of the miners as they scour for new, unexplored lands that would give them their million-dollar payday.
