‘Halloween Wars’ season 9 premiered on September 29, 2019, on Food Network. It ended with its fifth episode on October 27, 2019. Following its renewal, the show returns to its regular annual slot this year as well. ‘Halloween Wars’ season 10 premieres on September 13, 2020, at 9 pm ET.

Season 10 of ‘Halloween Wars’ is hosted by actor and model, Jonathan Bennett. He is known for his roles in ‘Mean Girls’, ‘Cheaper by the Dozen’, ‘Van Wilder: Freshman Year’, and ‘Veronica Mars’. He has also hosted Food Network’s ‘Cake Wars’. Bennett’s charm and attractive persona make him the perfect host for ‘Halloween Wars’.

Joining the host in the 10th edition are six teams, which comprise a mix of cake decorators, candy makers, and pumpkin carvers. Team Mummies Rejects is made up of Daniel Miller (pumpkin carver), Hemu Basu (cake creator), and Steve Weiss (sugar expert). Team Killer Cakerz consists of Carmel Turner (cake master), Jim Bille (pumpkin carver), and Vanessa Greeley (sugar specialist). Team Crave Diggers comprise pumpkin professional Eric Jones, sugar artist Joel Gonzalez, and cake artist Jeff Taylor.

Team Ghouly Goblins includes Sharon Hauht (sugar pro), Steve Baity (pumpkin sculptor), and Sam Lucero (cake artist). Team Candy Coroners consist of cake artist Amy McBride, pumpkin carver Chad Gainey, and sugar extraordinaire Janet Barron. Team Ghoulicious includes Caesar Barachina, Deane Arnold, and Heather Sherman — a sugar expert, a pumpkin carver, and a cake maker, respectively.

What Can Halloween Wars Season 10 be About?

Food Network gives quite an interesting intro for ‘Halloween Wars’ season 10. It goes as follows: “Just when you thought it was safe to walk past that old house or take a shortcut through the cemetery comes this deliciously scary four-part series.” Well, six teams, comprising three talented culinary experts each, battle it out to prove that they are the best. The trio that passes all the rounds and makes it to the top walks home with a grand cash prize of $50,000. Of course, throughout the season, we get to see an eclectic mix of the most deliciously carved horror tales — curated into cakes, candies, and pumpkins.
