IMDb is the mecca of movie-lovers. Some consider as the ultimate movie guide. Whereas some are more skeptical about it. Whichever group you belong to, I am certain that you would be interested in knowing which Indian movies are the top of IMDb ratings. I am also certain that most of you probably won’t agree with the ratings or rankings. As far as I am considered I am very happy with No.1. Is ‘Anand’ the greatest Indian movie ever? Probably not! Does it deserve the highest rating? Yes. It is heartfelt and life-affirming. It has a brilliantly conceived ending (read more about that here) that will melt the toughest hearts. What more do you need to be on top of a ranking that’s driven by normal film-goers.
Anyway, without any further arguments about which film deserves its place or not, I will let you look at this list of highest rated Indian movies on IMDb and decide for yourself.
