‘ID: Invaded’ is an immersive anime that revolves around a gritty virtual murder mystery. But apart from having a simple detective-based storyline, ‘ID: Invaded’ is bolstered with surreal visuals of floating structures and colliding masses. From the trailer itself, one can tell that the anime will not be any ordinary murder mystery, but will have some unexpected twists and turns, clever conclusions, and an intense supernatural atmosphere.

ID: Invaded Season 1 Release Date: When will it premiere?

Produced by Studio NAZ, ‘ID: Invaded’ season 1 will premiere on January 6, 2020. Assuming that the anime will have a total of 12 episodes in its first season, we can expect it to end by March 24, 2020.

Season 1 of ‘ID: Invaded’ has been directed by Ei Aoki (‘Blood Plus‘, ‘Bakemonogatari‘, ‘Aldnoah.Zero‘) and its characters have been designed by Atsushi Ikariya (‘Akame ga Kill‘, ‘Code Breaker’). Apart from that, its main cast also includes Yoshihiro Sono as its concept artist, Takehiro Kubota as the assistant director, and Daisuke Mataga (‘Code Geass‘, ‘Ergo Proxy‘) as the main animator. Novelist Otaro Maijo has penned down its script and Kenjiro Tsuda, who is also known for his work in ‘Fire Force’, has voiced the main character of the show.

ID: Invaded English Dub

‘ID: Invaded’ Season 1 has been licensed by Funimation for a simuldub, so we can expect it to be available on the streaming website on January 6, 2020. Also, episodes 1 and 2 of the show received an early screening on December 15, 2019 on FunimationNow, Hulu, and Wakanim, and on December 16, 2019 on AnimeLab.

ID: Invaded Plot

‘ID: Invaded’ revolves around a renowned detective named Sakaido, who can solve almost any case that is assigned to him. However, one day, his life comes crashing down when his own daughter is murdered. His hunger for revenge lands him in prison and he is then forced to work with the police. As he begins to work with them and solves cases with them, he is eventually led back to the murder of his daughter.

Detective Sakaido

Sakaido is a master detective, who is very well-known for solving all of his cases with absolute perfection. He is the main protagonist of the series and has pink spiky hair with striking green eyes.

Narihisago Akihito

Narihisago is one of the secondary characters of the series, who plays the role of a man helping the police with their hunt for a serial murderer.

Momoki

Momoki is the manager of a very well-known organization that hunts down serial killers. He acts as the perfect leader for his team and manages his staff really well. In appearance, he is tall, has short dark hair and grey eyes.

Fukuda

Fukuda is a mysterious man who has a very terrifying appearance. The right side of his face is entirely scathed and he has a small hole on his forehead.

Hondoumachi

Hondomachi is one of the main female characters of the series. She is a foreign analyst who conducts all of her research based on information that she receives from Ido. She is a newcomer in the team and has just completed her training. When it comes to her appearance, she has a childish face with shoulder-length black hair and pink eyes.

Togo

Togo is another female character who is Momoki’s assistant. She has long brown hair, and deep green eyes, and is usually seen with a stern look on her face.

Hayaseura

Hayasuera is the director of the investigation organization and all the analysts report to him. He looks quite old in appearance and has long white hair with a grey beard all over his face. His presence commands respect and he treats all of his employees with veneration.
