Isekai Quartet Season 2 Episode 5 Recap

The 5th episode of ‘Isekai Quartet’ celebrates Valentine’s day where all of our beloved Isekai characters think about gifting chocolates to their loved ones. In the opening scene of the episode, the girls discuss the significance of the day and ask each other who they would like to give chocolates to. Megumi says that she would be giving one to Kazuma as he has never really experienced Valentine’s day before. Emilia, just for the sake of it, says that she’ll give chocolates to Puck and Puck claims that he’ll return the favor. Soon, even major joins them and tells them about the custom of “duty chocolate” which allows them to give chocolates to everyone who works with them.

In the meantime, Captain Weiss, who is still seemingly new to the idea of sharing chocolates on Valentine’s day, hopes that someone would give him chocolates as well. But he fails to understand what he needs to do to get one. His men explain it to him that only the boys who are admired by other girls get chocolates. He still seems to be too stuck up on the idea and refuses to wrap his head around the whole notion. This is when Neumann walks up to him and tells him that he’ll only get chocolates if he’s nice to the girls. Later, even Kazuma joins them and tells Captain that he must bow down in front of the girls and say “Give me, Choco” to get chocolates from them.

When he tries to follow Kazuma’s advice, it simply backfires on him and he ends up getting attacked by the girls. In the end, he is left disappointed and he falls on his knees in front of the Major and asks her for chocolates. In the meantime, Petelgeuse Romanee-Conti breaks into the school and helps Albedo make chocolates for Ainz. He is later caught and thrown out of school.
