‘Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father’ is a travel comedy tv show that airs on Netflix and first premiered on September 22, 2017. The show has been created by the comedian Jack Whitehall of ‘Fresh Meat’ and ‘Bad Education’ fame. He along with his father, Michael Whitehall, present the show.

The series is centered on the father-son duo, who travels to various parts of the world. Their trip of a lifetime is peppered with misadventures, escapades, and two very different perspectives on a situation. If you like traveling, then you must know that not everyone can be ideal travel companions. It is especially hard to travel with parents because of the generational gap, which makes them want to enjoy and experience places in a different way than you do. If you have ever found yourself in this pickle, then you will relate to what Jack goes through with his father.

And just because of this interesting dynamic, the series has spanned 3 seasons to date. Here’s everything we know about its next season.

Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father Season 4 Release Date:

The show has already been renewed and we even have a release date. ‘Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father’ Season 4 premieres on September 22, 2020.

Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father Season 4 Hosts

The unique set up only requires the two people in its title — Jack Whitehall and his father, Michael — to be filmed in front of the camera. The two-man show, if you will, has entertained audiences beyond the word. This is because they make the exploits so relatable with their comedy – to make the audiences feel like they were living them as well. As the show’s requirements go, it remains a two-man show in the upcoming season as well.

Notably, Jack has appeared in the acclaimed Amazon Prime show, ‘Good Omens‘ in the role of Newton Pulsifer, a geek hailing from a long line of witch-hunters. Michael, for his part, is a talent agent among other things, and has represented the likes of Colin Firth and Dame Judi Dench.

What Can Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father Season 4 be About?

‘Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father’, as the name suggests, involves a father-son duo exploring the world together. The hilarious clash between the two generations is what keeps the show going. Their ideas of travel are vastly different, for example when Jack books a hostel to stay at, in Thailand, only to have his father insist on putting up at a five-star hotel. Their trip in Europe makes this divide even more evident, as Michael arranges for them to visit cultural icons, while Jack gets in activities like going to an unusual cemetery in Romania, or beer biking in Budapest, and skiing with motorbikes in Germany. Of course, his father hates all of this, but there is something to be said for taking his son’s plans in good stride even at his age.

The two are always up for a laugh even amidst their crazier plans, which makes the show so endearing since it not only focuses on the places they visit but on the central relationship that is so important. While it is true that a lot of the jokes do come at the expense of the tour guide, there is something that can definitely be learned from the trips they take as well. Viewers just have to learn to look beyond all the antics to find that the show is educational in some ways because it covers a lot of ground.

Season 4 follows the pair as they explore Australia, visiting the Sydney Opera House and attempting Drag on their journey. They also visit a beach and partake in local activities like camel-riding, emu-chasing, snake-holding, and motorbike-riding.
