Like most of the actors who frequent characters with darker shades or simply villains, Jason Isaacs has the same predicament, being famous and not-quite-famous-enough at the same time. But, the actor never accepts that paradox. He holds firm on the claim that he never plays his characters as villains, but as ‘consequentialists.’ Ever since his feature debut in ‘The Tall Guy’ in 1989, Jason Isaacs has never let go off empty-handed any character roles that came in search of him.

His impressive filmography showcases movies like ‘Event Horizon,’ ‘Armageddon,’ ‘The Patriot,’ ‘Black Hawk Down,’ ‘A Cure for Wellness,’ ‘Harry Potter Franchise, as Lucius Malfoy,’ and TV Shows like ‘Brotherhood,’ ‘Green Zone,’ ‘Fury,’ and ‘Star Wars: Rebels’, the animated series. He has established himself as a dependable character actor from the movie ‘The Patriot’ in 2000. But playing Lucius Malfoy, the Dark Lord loyalist aristocrat, in the Harry Potter films made him popular across the globe. And he revealed his darkly comic side in ‘The Death Of Stalin.’

Jason Isaacs has evolved as a working character actor who can be utilized by the filmmakers in more than one way. He defies age, nationality and moral clarity of the character, the good guy or the bad guy, in his unique process of disappearing into the skin of his character. At this point, the question that might be circling your mind is what is the next Jason Isaacs movie and TV show? Well, the good news is that we have a clear answer to that question. Here’s the list of upcoming Jason Isaacs films/TV shows scheduled to release in 2019 and 2020.
