How did John Holmes earn his money and wealth?
John Holmes was born on 8th August 1944 in Ashville, Ohio. Holmes left his home at the age of 16 and joined U.S Army. He was honorably discharged from the army in 1963. In 1971, Holmes appeared in a porn series built around private investigator Johnny Ward, in the film Johnny Wadd by Bob Chinn. It was a take-off on his career. The film was a huge success and Chinn started creating the next installments. The same year he made Flesh of Lotus featuring Holmes.
In 1972, he appeared in The Blonde in Black Lace in which he was credited as John Duval.
