How did Kurt Angle earn his money and wealth?

Kurt Steven Angle, popularly known as Kurt Angle, was born in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Mt. Lebanon Township, Pennsylvania, the United States on December 9th, 1968. He is the son of Jackie and David Angle. Kurt Angle has completed his graduate degree in education from the Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 1993. Sibling to four older brothers and one sister, Kurt Angle became the caretaker of the family at sixteen after his father lost his life in a construction accident. Soon after, Kurt Angle dedicated his life and career to his father under the guidance of wrestling coach, David Schultz, who became a paternal figure for Kurt Angle. He supported his family after his mother died in 2015 after a long battle with cancer. Kurt Angle has been a great support for his brother Eric as well, who is also a wrestler.

Kurt Angle started wrestling at a very tender age. When he was seven years old, he won the Varsity Letters in football and wrestling. He was the All-State linebacker in the Mt. Lebanon High School. Soon he qualified the freshman wrestling team at Canon-McMillan High for the state wrestling tournament during his sophomore year. He also bagged the third place in the state wrestling tournament as a junior and became the 1987 Pennsylvania State Wrestling Champion as a senior. He continued his education further while wrestling at an amateur level.

He won as a two-time National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I champion, a national runner-up in 1991, a three-time NCAA Division I All-American and in 1987 he became the USA Junior Freestyle champion. He also bagged the tag for being two-time USA Senior Freestyle champion. As he entered the year 1988, he became the USA International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles Junior World Freestyle champion.

Kurt Angle is a great wrestler, which became known to the world after he won the gold medal in the heavyweight of 90–100 kg; 198–220 lb, despite having the neck injury. Apart from that, he has tried his luck in the films and wrestling based programs as well. He made his debut in 2008 via a short film, ‘Chains’. In 2009, he appeared in ‘End Game’, where he played the role of serial killer, Brad Mayfield. He was again seen in 2011 movie named ‘Warrior’ where he played the role of Russian MMA champion Koba.

He has also done more than a couple of TV shows which tops the list with names such as ‘Pros vs. Joes’, where he was teamed with Jimmy Smith and Kendall Gill in its third-season episode. He also a part of “Car Wreck Vanish” episode of Criss Angel Mindfreak. His accomplishments include the finale of 1996 Summer Olympics and 1995 World Wrestling Championships in 100kg wrestling.
