Kyokou Suiri Episode 7 Recap

After the cop’s murder, as Kotoko had feared, the rumors surrounding Steel Nanase get worse, and her website is suddenly flooded with comments from all over the world. Kotoko, Kuro, and Saki get together in a hotel room and discuss what they can do now to control this. Saki also feels responsible for Sergeant Terada Tokunoske’s murder and believes that if she had told him all about the dangers of the case, he would have been more cautious. In the meantime, even Kotoko and Kuro get closer than before and Kuro even starts liking her more because of how hard she works to keep the world safe.

Since Sergeant Terada Tokunoske was a cop and also a martial arts expert, people start fearing Nanase a lot more than they used to. Now that a strong man like Terada has been killed by her, they start believing that they won’t even have a chance against her if they ever face her. As a consequence of this, since Steel Lady Nanse is not a real monster and is only a monster of one’s imagination, she grows even stronger with all of these rumors going around. Kuro deduces that maybe there are other mediums through which rumors about her are reaching the masses. Realizing that Steel Lady now has the power to actually kill, Kuro takes it upon himself to fight her throughout the night even if he has to die a lot of time for that.

Towards the end of the episode, a new character is introduced. Her name is Rikko and she happens to Kuro’s sister, who has been living in a hospital for a very long time. Back when Kuro and Saki had started dating, Saki had even met her at the hospital once. The episode does not really reveal what’s wrong with her, but it will surely have something to do with Nanase in the future. Mayne, like Kuro, she, too, has some sort of supernatural abilities.
