Manifest Season 2 Episode 7 Recap:

Things heat up, literally, in Episode 7 of ‘Manifest’. Ben and Adrian have a go at each other, as the former is miffed at the latter due to the influence Adrian has over Olive. However, eventually, Ben finds himself headed to a club to talk to the church leader. Olive and TJ are headed to the same club as well, along with Michaela, who is supposed to meet Isaiah for intel.

Having so many members of Flight 828 seems to be more than a coincidence, and Michaela also notices the brand of champagne being served. It is the same as the one seen in the ‘calling’. Soon enough the members of the flight start to lose consciousness. It turns out that Isaiah led everyone there, wanting to poison them, and set the entire building on fire.

Ben and Michaela do their best to help everyone, and Ben even carries Olive to safety. Zeke shows up as well, helping Bethany, the flight attendant. Surprisingly, when he lifts a hot beam off her, he seems to get frostbite rather than burns. However, we don’t have much time to focus on this, as Ben still needs to save TJ. Before he can double back, the building explodes, and it seems like TJ is dead.

As for Saanvi, she misses the ‘calling’ because she is busy working on the DNA anomaly. This search puts her back in touch with Alex, the mysterious figure who’d not gone on the flight with her to Jamaica. Alex’s assistance is helpful, and Saanvi shares a tearful hug of thanks. After the club fire, Michaela and Zeke also profess their love for each other.

Oliver gives Ben Al-Zuras’ journal, which leads him to a dusty tome. He sees the drawing of a man carrying a woman to safety, from a fire, much like he carried Olive. This is when the pages of the journal start glowing. We cannot wait to see where the upcoming episode goes from here.
