Runaways Season 2 Plot: What is it about?

Season 2 sees every kid turning into their own parents and comic fans were pleased to see the arrival of the hostel in season two. The show feels very different and The Runaways find a hideout in season 2.

As per the official synopsis of the show, The Runaways separate themselves from their evil parents after leaving their homes and begin leading a life of their own on their own terms. They take care of each other and together fulfill their needs of food and shelter all the while knowing that they are now stuck with each other. Their next move is to bring down PRIDE but there is a mysterious message that is conveyed to Jonah which leads them into considering if there is mole amongst themselves. The Runaways will take shelter in comic books’ infamous hostel that is portrayed as a lavish mansion that was submerged by “a mudslide or an earthquake.”

Executive producers Schwartz and Stephanie Savage felt that “there was a lot we were answering, but we also wanted to make sure there was a lot of fun questions”.

They further added: “What’s starting to come together at the end of the season is this new alliance of Pride vs Jonah. The Wilders are outsiders right now and don’t really trust anybody, so they’re this third faction. Then, you have Jonah aligning with Frank Dean, who is either newly woke or newly evil, it’s hard to say, and whatever the next version of Victor Stein is going to be when he gets out of that box.”
