How did Master P earn his money and wealth?
Master P is the stage name of Percy Robert Miller also famous by his business name P. Miller. He was born and brought up in New Orleans in the Calliope Projects, Louisiana, the U.S. and is a well- known American rapper, actor, businessman, record producer, philanthropist, and a former basketball player by profession.
He did his schooling from Booker T. Washington High School & Warren Easton High School and played basketball since his school time and joined the University of Houston after receiving an athletic scholarship, but dropped in a few months and shifted to Merritt College in Oakland, California to pursue his studies in business administration.
His siblings are also famous personalities: platinum-selling rap artists Corey “C-Murder” & Vyshonne “Silkk The Shocker” Miller.
No Limit Records is a record store opened by Miller in Richmond, California, and this recording studio later turned out to be the foundation for his self- owned record label with the same name from which he released “Mind Of A Psychopath” in 1990. The “No limit Record Studio” pioneers the Southern Rap sound and has sold over 80 million records worldwide.
It is difficult to narrow and streamline his occupation and business to two or three fields, by the late 90s Master P built a branched out business empire that encompasses a clothing line, several rap labels, a management company, a travel agency, a film production company, a video game company and also a phone sex line. Master P is well known for his single hit “Make ‘Em Say Uhh!” and has been also famous in the world of hip-hop. He is also well known in the world of acting for his work in the Nickelodeon children’s sitcom Romeo!
“MP Da Last Don” in 1998, is Millers seventh album released from the No Limit Records studio and is the most successful album to date by him with around 400,000 copies sold in a week. The album also hit number 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. In the following year, he released his eighth album by name Only God Can Judge Me, but this was not as successful as the earlier one but still managed to get Gold certification when compared to 4x platinum certification received by the previous album. In 2000, he released his ninth alum “Ghetto Postage” which in total had a sale of around 5,00,000 copies still not being able to break the seventh album’s record. In 2000, No limit records popularity began to fall slowly and so did Miller’s, hence he launched his studio as New No Limit Records and released his tenth album in 2001 named Game Face. His eleventh album which released in 2004 and sold around at300,000 copies-“Good Side, Bad Side” and is a number 1 on Billboard Independent Albums chart.
