Matthew Leinart was born on May 11 in 1983. He is a former football quarterback belonging to America, who after retirement, now works as a studio analyst for college football coverage for the Fox Sports’. Leinart played for many teams like NFL draft, Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills and Houston Texas. Leinart was considered one of the top choices in 2006 for the NFL Draft class. He was considered the ideal NFL quarterback in terms of height and weight but with a weak arm. Leinart was selected as the tenth overall pick in the first round by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2006 NFL Draft.

Leinart played four seasons for Cardinals, mainly as a backup for experienced person Kurt Warner, whom he was supposed to succeed as a starter. In his first season, after an argumentative compromise making him the last member of the draft to sign a bond, Leinart agreed to a six-year contract in August. Leinart played in the second section of the game against the New England Patriots on August 19. In a November game, he set a record of an NFL rookie with 406 passing yards in a defeat to the 6-10 Minnesota Vikings. 74.0 was his quarterback rating. He suffered a twisted left shoulder in a 16th-week victory over the San Francisco 49ers. In 11 starts, Leinart flung for 11 touchdowns and 2,547 yards. He finished the season with a record 4-7.

In 2010, the National Football league declared that Leinart signed a one-year contract as a backup of Matt Schaub with the Houston Texans. Since Matt played all the 16 games, Leinart did not get the chance to play the 2010 season. In 2012, Leinart signed with the Oakland Raiders, as the back-up to his old teammate, Carson Palmer. When Palmar suffered an injury in week 11th, Leinart got the change to team up with Terrelle Pryor. Pryor got the chance to play in Week 17 and Leinart was not signed again by the  Raiders the following offseason.

After EJ Manuel and Kevin Kolb got injured, the Buffalo Bills decided to sign Leinart in 2013. Leinart and Thad Lewis competed for the fourth-string quarterback job behind rookie Jeff Tuel, who was undrafted. Lewis won that competition, and Leinart left the team on August 30, 2013, as a result of the defeat.
