Born on 18 October 1984, Milo Yiannopoulos, also known by his pen name Milo Andreas Wagner, is a British political writer and commentator. As of 2018, Milo Yiannopoulos’s net worth is $4 million. Milo had a rather rough childhood, with his father leaving him and his mother when he was only six and he was raised by his mother and step-father. He married his longtime boyfriend in September 2017.

After graduating from college, he was interested in becoming a theatre critic. But his interests took a drastic change in 2009 and he changed his career path to technology journalism. He also founded “The Telegraph Tech Start-Up 100”, a method to rank most promising technology start-ups called in 2011. In November 2011, Milo, along with his friends founded The Kernel “fix European technology journalism”. But the online magazine failed after one year, due to legal disputes.

In 2015, he was placed in charge of “Breitbart Tech” section by Breitbart News Network, from where he resigned on 21 February 2017. In 2016, he also co-founded Yiannopoulos Privilege Grant, in which it was planned to disburse 50 grants of $2,500 to disadvantaged white men. The main reasons for Milo’s popularity are the numerous controversies is was involved in. being gay himself, he is often caught making remarks like “Gay Rights Have Made Us Dumber” or arguing that “homosexuals have been massively over-represented”.

He is often times also considered a misogynist. In 2015 he was briefly suspended from Twitter which was followed by a permanent ban in the next year after he made some remarks about actress Leslie Jones.

Milo also has more than half-a-million youtube subscribers. He announced his autobiography in 2016 called dangerous, which reached the top of Amazon’s pre-sales list. But after a controversy where he was accused of making unsavory remarks on pedophilia, the book deal was canceled. He has also been banned from speaking in many universities because of his support of many social evils.
