They strike a deal that if Mi-ho gives him her mystical bead which will give him increased speed and strength, he will help her to become a human. Dae-Woong agrees since this will help him be the greatest action star. As time goes on, Dae-Woong is fascinated by Mi-ho and her way of looking at the world with wonder and innocence. He starts to fall for her.

Meanwhile, Park Dong-Joo, a half-human, half supernatural being arrives in search of Mi-ho to capture her and trap her back in the painting. He pretends to be a normal veterinarian in order to get to her. However, when Mi-ho tells him how desperately she wants to become a human, he changes his mind. Dong-Joo then tries to guide her and is skeptical about Dae-Woong. He tries to warn her of humans and their selfish intentions.

Dong-Joo suggests a way by which Mi-ho can turn into a human. He tells her that if she places her mystical bead inside a human skull for a hundred days, she will turn into a human. Mi-ho quickly agrees and does what is told by taking the bead from Dae-Woong who also decides to help out Min-ho.

However, they later realize that Dong-Joo doesn’t tell them that this process means one of them has to die.
