NCIS: New Orleans Season 6 Episode 18 Recap:

In episode 18, a group of skateboarders come across a body, when one from the team falls into a trash can by some abandoned buildings. It is later uncovered that the corpse belongs to Petty Officer Brayden Murphy. He was killed with a gunshot that went right through his chest and then, after he was dead, he was dumped here. The crew, who does not have Sebastian (he has gone to visit his mother), need to trace the killer.

As the crew delves into the case, they find out that the wife of the victim lives in New Orleans, while taking care of her sick dad and the family farm. However, she reveals that the couple was not living together and Murphy was quite stressed with the whole situation. His job demanded him to stay away and he had to make trips to his hometown in order to visit his family. But when the team looks into the details of the farm, they discover that it is heading toward foreclosure and someone has been paying nine thousand dollars per day.

When the crew questions Sarah, she does not give any clear answer. The team suspects that maybe Murphy was stealing from the Navy. So they decide to track his earlier whereabouts and trace it to a car accident — with a dead driver, Jace Lennon. There are also two sets of footprints around the car and they track the crime scene to Clay Bledsoe, Sarah’s brother. So the crew follows Sarah and witnesses her carrying a bag of drugs and delivering it to a buyer. The cops arrest them both.

Sarah then reveals that Clay had found a bag of cash at the accident site. She had informed the same to Murphy. Murphy connected with the dead man’s last contact and had found out about the drugs — something that Clay knew about but did not disclose to his sister. The cops trace the drug dealers and uncover that a person named Doucet was responsible for the whole incident.
