Kevin Darnell Hart is an American comedian and an actor who was born on the 6th of July, 1979. Kevin was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and began his career by winning several amateur comedy competitions at clubs throughout New England. Hart graduated from George Washington High School, and briefly attended the Community College of Philadelphia before moving to New York City.

Hart made his film debut in the film Paper Soldiers and gained further recognition from his other films such as the Scary Movie franchise, Soul Plane, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Death at a Funeral, and Little Fockers. 9. Dashing Through the Snow (TBA)

Dashing Through the Snow is a film based on an original idea by Scott Rosenberg. Rob Burnett is handling the script along with Will Packer and John Jacobs attached as the producers. The story follows a New York City detective who has a strained relationship with his son. The only thing that may be able to repair the father-son relationship is the one true Santa Claus who has to make the man believe in Christmas magic.

8. My Own Worst Enemy (TBA)

Universal Studios will be distributing the Kevin Hart starrer My Own Worst Enemy. The movie is directed by Tim Story from a script by the talented Chad St. John, the scribe behind London Has Fallen. The action-comedy follows Hart playing an agent that is tasked to kill and gets help from an unlikely source. Tim Story will also be producing the film through his The Story Company banner along with Hart producing through his production company Hartbeat.

7. On the Run (TBA)

Universal Pictures is developing the action-comedy “On the Run” which will star Kevin Hart, the actor will also produce through his Hartbeat Productions company along with Will Packer. Aeysha Carr is writing the script in which a hit man’s assigned target turns out to be a surprise and the assignment goes awry when the target isn’t who he expects.

6. Ride Along 3 (TBA)

The police comedy franchise, “Ride Along 3,” starring Ice Cube and Kevin Hart is at an early development stages at Universal Studios. Tim Story is directing the film along with Screenwriters Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi, who are working on the script. The first film “Ride Along” was made on a budget of $25 million and grossed $153 million worldwide. It had Hart as a security guard trying to prove to his girlfriend’s police officer brother, played by Cube, that he is a worthy brother-in-law by going on a police ride-along, the sequel was set in Miami with Hart’s character having graduated from the police academy and the duo dealing with crime lords. Not much is known about the third film but the good news is that Ice Cube and Kevin Hart are expected to reprise their roles.

5. The Great Outdoors (TBA)

Kevin Hart will star in The Great Outdoors, a reboot Universal Pictures is developing based on the 1988 John Hughes-scripted comedy. Randall Green is writing the screenplay for the reboot with Michael De Luca producing through his Michael De Luca Productions & Hart through his Hartbeat Productions banner. The plot of the original movie revolved around Candy and his family whose relaxing camping trip in Wisconsin is ruined by his annoying brother-in-law, played by Akroyd, and his family. Although not much is known about the plot for the reboot but it could follow the original story with some minor tweaking.

4. Uptown Saturday Night (TBA)

Warner Bros and Overbrook Entertainment will collaborate for the upcoming remake of the 1974 comedy ‘Uptown Saturday Night’. The remake will star Kevin Hart along with Will Smith and his Overbrook Entertainment partner James Lassiter. ‘Black-ish’ creator Kenya Barris will be handling the script of the film. The plot of the original followed Sidney Poitier and Bill Cosby as two friends who sneak out to visit a high-class illegal club but soon find themselves in a mess.

3. Jumanji 3 (2019)

Sony Pictures head Tom Rothman confirmed that a sequel to Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is set for Christmas 2019 at CinemaCon, considering the sequel turning out to be a massive, surprise hit for Sony. Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart are set to return for the sequel. The script is written by Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner. Jake Kasdan is returning to direct the film. Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle grossed over 900 million at the box office.

2. Secret Life of Pets 2 (2019)

Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment are coming with the animated sequel The Secret Life of Pets 2. Patton Oswalt will take over the role over from Louis C.K, who voiced the protagonist Max in the 2016 smash hit. C.K. was accused of sexual harassment last year and has largely been out of the public eye ever since, which ultimately forced Universal to remove him from the sequel. Director Chris Renaud and writer Brian Lynch will reprise their duties for the sequel, which will release on the 7th of June 2019.

1. Lil Kev (2019)

Kevin Hart will be voicing alongside Wanda Sykes, Keith Robinson, Gerald “Slink” Johnson and Deon Cole for animated pilot presentation from Fox titled Lil Kev. The project is written by Michael Price (The Simpsons) and Matt Claybrooks (Everybody Hates Chris). Fox’s new entertainment president Michael Thorn had this to say The plot of the series follows Lil Kev, a 12-year-old, pint-sized, optimistic, highly imaginative kid who navigates growing up in the crime filled inner-city of North Philly with the help and sometimes hindrance of his strong, quick-tempered mother, drug addicted father, pessimistic older brother, ex-con uncle and wise-ass talking dog.

Night School (2018)

Night School is an upcoming comedy from Girls Trip and The Best Man Holiday filmmaker Malcolm D. Lee, which will star Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish. The plot of the film revolves around a man who has to go back to school to get his GED in order to become a financial analyst. Kevin Hart plays the student, while Haddish plays his teacher. Kevin Hart will be writing the screenplay for the film alongside Matthew Kellard, Harry Ratchford, Nicholas Stoller, John Hamburg and Joey Wells, marking the comedian’s first screenplay credit outside of his standup specials.
