1. 72 Hours (July 24, 2026)

Hart will star in Tim Story’s comedy movie ‘72 Hours,’ backed by Netflix. The movie has completed post-production and will be released on July 24, 2026. It is based on a screenplay by Kevin Burrows, Jon Hurwitz, Matt Mider, and Hayden Schlossberg. The story follows a middle-aged father, Joe, who ends up at a three-day bachelor party in Miami with a group of twenty-something-year-olds after being mistakenly included in their email thread. The cast also includes Marcello Hernández, Michael Mando, Teyana Taylor, Zach Cherry, Mason Gooding, Ben Marshall, and Swanmy Sampaio. You can watch the trailer here.
2. Jumanji: Open World (December 25, 2026)

A sequel to ‘Jumanji: The Next Level’ (2019) is happening, titled ‘Jumanji: Open World,’ with Hart, Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, and Jack Black set to return. Along with them, we will also be having Danny DeVito, Awkwafina, Nick Jonas, and Bebe Neuwirth. Brendan Fraser is also rumored to be joining the cast. Jake Kasdan will helm the Columbia Pictures project, the pitch of which is complete, although we do not know anything about the plot. However, based on the ending of ‘Jumanji: The Next Level’ that showed the game world coming into our world and Johnson’s tease that it will explore the villain Jurgen the Brutal and who his avatar is, we can say that the film will have the “best of both worlds.” The film has completed post-production and is slated for release on December 25, 2026.
3. Untitled Henry Cavill-Kevin Hart Netflix Spy Comedy (TBA)

Hart will star alongside Henry Cavill in a spy action comedy movie for Netflix, which is yet untitled. Based on a short story by Sean Lewis, the plot follows rival spies who cross paths in a Lamaze class when their wives become friends, forcing them to reluctantly become partners as their double lives collide in hilarious and dangerous ways. The script was written by Adam and Aaron Nee, and Jonathan Tropper. McG will direct. The movie is in pre-production and awaiting the start of production.
4. The Leading Man (TBA)

Hart will star alongside John Cena in the Netflix action comedy movie ‘The Leading Man.’ Based on the comic book series from Jeremy Haun and B. Clay Moore. The story, adapted by Writers Jon and Erich Hoeber, follows a self-absorbed movie star (Cena) who discovers that his co-star/man in the chair (Hart) is an actual agent. He is thus forced to swallow his pride and accept that action stars aren’t really action heroes…while trying to save the world. Currently in development, ‘The Leading Man’ awaits production.
5. My Own Worst Enemy (TBA)

Tim Story is set to direct the forthcoming Universal Pictures-backed action-comedy film ‘My Own Worst Enemy,’ based on a script by Chad St. John. In this engaging narrative, Kevin Hart assumes the role of an agent with a deadly mission, who unexpectedly finds assistance from an unlikely ally. Notably, Hart also takes on the responsibility of co-producing this thrilling project, which is presently in the pre-production phase, building anticipation among eager audiences.
6. Ride Along 3 (TBA)

The gears are officially turning at Universal for the third installment of the popular ‘Ride Along’ comedy series. Hart and Ice Cube are all set to reprise their iconic roles as Ben Barber and James Payton, respectively, and they are joined by Tika Sumpter and Shavon Majoi for ‘Ride Along 3.’ Tim Story’s directorial expertise will once again guide the film. The script is currently in development. The original film revolves around Ben (Hart), who sets out to prove to his girlfriend’s (Sumpter) police officer brother, James (Cube), that he is worthy of marrying the latter’s sister.
7. Secret Level Season 2 (TBA)

Hart lent his voice to the adult animated anthology series ‘Secret Level,’ created by Tim Miller for Amazon Prime Video. The show had 15 stories set in the worlds of world-famous video games, including ‘God of War,’ ‘Unreal Tournament,’ ‘Megaman,’ ‘Dungeons & Dragons,’ and ‘Honor of Kings.’ Hart voiced Buddibot in “Playtime: Fulfillment” episode. The voice cast also includes Keanu Reeves, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Laura Bailey, Gabriel Luna, Ariana Greenblatt, and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje. ‘Secret Level’ was renewed for Season 2 in December 2024, and Hart is set to return and entertain us with his iconic voice, although we have yet to find out what character he will be voicing.
