How did Nick Jonas earn his money and wealth?

Nick Jonas was born in Dallas, Texas, USA, on 16th September 1992. He was brought up in Wyckoff, New Jersey and was home-schooled by his mother. He started his career as an actor at the age of seven, performing in Broadway, portraying characters like Tiny Tim, Chip Potts, Little Jake, and Gavroche. Jonas wrote his first song with his father, a songwriter, and musician, titled “Joy to the World (A Christmas Prayer)” while performing in Beauty and the Beast (2002). It was featured on the compilation album Broadway’s Greatest Gifts: Carols for a Cure, Vol.4  and later released through INO Records in 2003 as Jonas’s debut single. In 2004, Jonas signed with Columbia Records and INO to release his debut studio work. As a result “Dear God” (2004) was released followed by the re-recorded version of “Joy to the World (A Christmas Prayer)”. His album Nicholas Jonas (2004), the eponymous studio album, received a limited release on September 2005 and was set for a wide release in December but got canceled.

Jonas along with his brothers signed with Colombia and they named their band Jonas Brothers. The band’s debut single, “Mandy” released in 2005. The band’s debut album, “ Its About Time”, released in 2006, and went on sell a total of 1,750,000 copies. In 2007, the group departed from the label. The group signed with Hollywood Records and released their self-titled studio album “Jonas Brothers” in 2007. The album sold over two million copies in the United States entering the top five of the Billboard 200. The album released its second single “Hold on”, followed by “S.O.S” the third single which sold over 1.5 million copies in the country. The band’s third album, A Little Bit Longer released in 2008 became the number one at Billboard 200 chart. The album remains the band’s highest selling work.

Nick Jonas made his acting debut along with his brothers in Disney series Hannah Montana titled “Me and Mr. Jonas and Mr. Jonas and Mr. Jonas”. Nick Jonas and his band starred in the Disney series “Jonas Brothers: Living Dreams” in 2008. Jonas and brothers made their film debut in Disney Channel film Camp Rock (2008). They starred in the 3D biopic, Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience(2009), which was a huge financial success. In 2009, the band released their fourth album titled Lines, Vines and Trying Times. With this, the Jonas brothers decided to focus on solo projects. Nick Jonas singed with Hollywood Records and formed the band Nick Jonas and the Administration. In 2010 Jonas starred in Camp Rock2: The Final Jam, a sequel to Camp Rock by Disney.

In 2013, The Jonas Brothers released their single “Pom Poms” in their own record label. The band released their next single “First Time”, which was meant to be from their forthcoming album. Before the release, the band had split up which led to the cancellation of the album. Nick Jonas then worked as the musical and creative director on Demi Lovato’s Neon Lights Tour in 2014. In 2014, Nick Jonas marked his return to music with the release of the lead single ”Chains” to his second studio album. The second single “Jealous”(2014) became the first top ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100. Jonas released his second album Nick Jonas (2014) with Island Records. In 2015, Jonas released a new single, “Levels”, as the lead single to his album, Nick Jonas X2.

Nick Jonas released his third solo album Last Year Was Complicated in 2016. “Close”, the first single from the album created in collaboration with Tove Lo, was followed by  “Bacon” (2016).  Jonas released the single “ Remember I Told You” and the song “Find You” In 2017. Jonas co-head with Demi Lovato in Future Now Tour which contained till 2017 September.
