Season 3 picks up from the cliffhanger ending of season 2. Monse, Cesar, Ruby, and Brett are abducted by the heir to the Santos gang – Cuchillos’ members. They find themselves in hot water, once again, after Cuchillos orders them to find Lil Ricky, who has been presumed dead for long. The group resorts to extreme measures on their quest to find him, even if it means risking their own lives or taking someone else’s. This puts their friendship in jeopardy and changes their dynamics and lives forever. In the ending of season 3, we see the core four, heading their separate ways.

Two years after the harrowing incident, the four close friends are not even on talking terms with each other. The Season 3 finale, sets the tone for the fourth season. Therefore, in season 4, we can expect to see the former friends dealing with their problems on their own. Ruby and Jasmine, who are a couple now, might explore their relationship further, while we might see Jamal rolling the dice on his future in football.

While studying in Mayfield, Monse might initially try to hold the group together but eventually, the distance might cause them to drift apart. After Spooky departs from the gang-culture to pursue the life of a family man, Cesar might try to dominate the underworld, further distorting his chances of leading a normal life and widening the gap between him and his love interest Monse. Season 4 might revolve around one important question – Will the core-four ever get back together?
