Dressed in an old-school aviator outfit, Rhino certainly has made heads turn with his performance and appearance. He’s yet another proof that ‘The Masked Singer‘ Season 3 has seriously upped its game. Group C, whose finale is around the corner, has seen some outstanding performances, and Rhino’s name must be mentioned in this regard.
Starting with John Hiatt’s “Have a Little Faith in Me”, Rhino performed “Nice To Meet Ya” by Niall Horan, next. He’s got impressive stage presence and is an entertainer through and through. However, Rhino’s identity has left quite a few fans puzzled.
Curious to know who might be behind the mask? We have the clues and guesses here. Moreover, we’ve also added the first clue package below, so you can refresh your memory and see if anything jumps out at you.
Clues about Rhino:
Rhino starts his clue package saying that “After last week’s performance, I am flying high.” He backs this up, saying “for so long, it felt like I was free-falling through life”. However, Rhino claims that his wife, who is his guardian angel, saved him.
The clue package is also rich in visuals, as we see Rhino standing on the wings of an older airplane. He plays an electric guitar, and there is an amp present. A placard reads ‘South’, and we also see tennis, paddleball, a big diamond ring, as well as a sandwich roll, in the clue package. Rhino’s yearbook quote reads “Family is very important for success, especially when performing for a king is in your blood.” Check out the clue package below.
Guesses about Rhino:
There are several guesses about who Rhino could be. The initial guesses were that John Travolta might be behind the outfit, as the actor has a pilot’s license. Sam Hunt has also been a popular guess because he’s performed at the Grand Ole Opry, which is seen in the first clue package.
However, after the second performance, many fans feel that Rhino might be Jeff Hardy, the former WWE star. Fans have commented that he matches the same height as Rhino, can sing somewhat, has had addiction problems. Moreover, his documentary is titled ‘Leap of Faith’. While many have been quick to assert Rhino is Jeff, there have been detractors, who’ve stated that Rhino and Jeff’s voices don’t sound similar at all.
One fan has claimed that Rhino might be Ryan Tannehill. They’ve interpreted Grand Ole Opry to refer to Nashville, and south to refer to AFC South Champions. The clue about playing for a king might refer to Derrick ‘King’ Henry. You can check out the tweet below.
Rhino on masked singer is Ryan Tannehill, tennis-Tennessee, south-afc south champs, faith-outspoken Christian, rhino-Ryan, ring-south champs, grand ole opry-Nashville, play for a king-Derrick “King” Henry…..

One fan has gone on to comment that Rhino’s clue about his wife helping him defy gravity, reminded them of Idina Menzel. Since her husband, Aaron Lohr, is an actor and singer, the fan feels that he might be behind the Rhino outfit. You can check out the tweet, asserting the same, below.
When Rhino mentioned his wife helped him defy gravity, I instantly thought of Idina Menzel. Her husband is an actor and singer, named Aaron Lohr. I think Rhino is Aaron Lohr @MaskedSingerFOX #RhinoMask

Some fans feel that the Rock or Dwayne Johnson might be behind the Rhino outfit, due to the obvious ‘Jumanji’ connection. However, this is far-fetched, and not much in the clue packages supports this. Thus, for now, there seem to be quite a few thought out clues about Rhino’s identity.
However, in order to be sure, we have to comb through further performances and clue packages, which will undoubtedly be coming forth, in the new episodes. That said, Rhino has a good chance of making it to the ‘Super Nine’, so it might be a while before he’s unmasked.
