Rhyme Time Town Season 2 Release Date

‘Rhyme Time Town’ season 1 premiered on June 19, 2020, on Netflix, in all its entirety of six episodes. It forms a part of the streaming giant’s expansive 2013 deal with Dreamworks Animation that includes 300 hours of exclusive content for the streamer. With multiple titles from this contract already having received additional seasons, we are 100% sure that ‘Rhyme Time Town’ will also be renewed for another outing at least. We expect ‘Rhyme Time Town’ season 2 to release sometime in Dec 2020.

Rhyme Time Town Season 2 Cast: Who Can be in it?

‘Rhyme Time Town’ is an animated series and hence, the entire cast comprises a talented roster of voiceover stars. Some of the voice actors featured in its first season include Luke Amis, Annabelle Westenholz-Smith, and Maddie Evans. Season 2 is expected to see all of the lead cast making comebacks — joined by a couple of new faces if the show decides to incorporate additional characters.

Rhyme Time Town Season 2 Plot: What Can it be About?

‘Rhyme Time Town’ follows two best friends who reside in the eponymous, fantasy town, filled with beloved nursery rhyme characters. We have Daisy the Puppy and Cole the Kitten who embark on various adventures as they guide their young viewers through this vibrant locale. Along the way, the duo uses music and imagination to solve various problems.

In the episodes, we see Daisy and Cole visiting Mary who is constantly being followed by a little lamb — but now, she needs some ‘me time’. Again, Cosmo the cow wants to leap over the moon just like his mum. Humpty Dumpty wants to play with Daisy and Cole but his Mumpty does not allow, thinking he will get hurt. Again, on a boring rainy day, the BFFs visit a monster who is not as scary as he sounds.

In another episode, they help Baa Baa Black Sheep in finding his wool and look after Ms. MacDonald’s farm in her absence. The pair even lends a helping hand to Jack and Jill who cannot seem to bring down water from the hill without falling over. Season 2 will continue to stick to this feel-good, informative premise while giving a fresh twist to some of our favorite, classic nursery rhymes.
