How did Seth Rogen earn his money and wealth?

Seth Rogen is a Canadian–American actor, comedian, and filmmaker and was born on April 15, 1982, in Vancouver, British Columbia. His parents are Sandy and Mark Rogen who are Canadian and American respectively. His older sister is Danya. He had attended the  Vancouver Talmud Torah Elementary School and Point Grey Secondary School. His most remembered rendition is his stand-up comedy at Camp Miriam. At the age of 12, he signed up for a comedy workshop taught by Mark Pooley. At 16 years of age, his deadpan humor bagged him the Vancouver Amateur Comedy Contest. A short time after, he took up the position of being the breadwinner of the family, having dropped out of high school and performing in the show  Freaks and Geeks.

In 2001, he appeared in Hollywood for a minor role in cult sci-fi movie Donnie Darko. Rogen took up the supporting role in The 40-Year-Old Virgin and also co-produced it. He was the lead role in the movies Knocked Up (alongside Kristen Wiig and Katherine Heigl) and Funny People. In 2016, he produced the AMC television series Preacher.  He is also a writer, executive producer, and director with Goldberg.

His debut TV show Freaks and Geeks must have earned him fame but the series didn’t expand into further episodes due to the low viewership and poor ratings. He blossomed as a writer after writing for Ali G show. It was his friendship with Judd Apatow that took the actor majorly to stardom. He has also co-written movies such as Superbad, This Is the End and Pineapple Express with his friend Evan Goldberg. He has also lent his voice to various animated movies like Horton Hears A Who!, Monsters vs. Aliens and Kung Fu Panda.

He has won High Times Stony Award, Canadian Comedy Award, ShoWest, Denver Film Critics Society Award, MTV Movie Award, American Comedy Award, and Women Film Critics Circle Award. He was nominated during his career in the film industry for a variety of awards and accolades like the Young Artist Award, Primetime Emmy Award, MTV Movie Award, Satellite Award, Teen Choice Award, Dublin Film Critics Circle Award, Empire Award, Saturn Award, People’s Choice Award, MTV Movie & TV Awards, Independent Spirit Award, Golden Globe Award, Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award, et cetera.

Rogen will be seen voicing the character warthog Pumbaa from The Lion King (1994) whose remake in under production and is expected to be released in 2019. He is also cast opposite Charlize Theron who will play the role of Rogen’s childhood crush and babysitter while Fred Flarsky, the unemployed journalist will be the character played by him. The movie is named Flarsky looking for a release in 2019.
