The Seven Deadly Sins Season 4 Episode 21 Spoilers: What to Expect?
In the opening scene of the 20th episode, Margaret runs into Escanor. He tries to act like he’s superior to her by standing on a higher surface and claims that humans like her should stand below him. After taking a good look at him, Margaret recalls Escanor being much smaller in size during the day. She questions him about it and that’s when he responds by saying that his magic only works when the sun is up.
She then lashes out on him suddenly and begins to attack him. When Escanor asks her what’s wrong, she tells him that he stole this ability from someone. He claims that he was born with such godly abilities and it has been with him since birth. Refusing to listen to him, the archangel attacks him again and asks him to return the magic to the respective owner.
Meanwhile, at the Zeldris’ Castle, King Arthur tries to sneak in to get his hands on his sword. But along the way, Zeldris stops him. His pet cat somehow distracts Zeldris and he rushes in to claim the Excalibur. As soon as he retrieves the sword, Zeldris, Cusack, and Cusack’s demon catch up with him. The firmly believe that since he’s just a normal human, he will not be able to harm them but little do they know that the beholder of the sword is one of the strongest warriors out there. Cusack’s demon tries attacking him first and instantly regrets it. Before he is able to lay his hands on the young King, he slashes him with his sword and kills him. This is when Meliodas and Cusack realize that he’s really strong. A battle ensues between all three of them.
The next episode will feature a battle between Meliodas and King Arthur. It seems like Arthur has a better chance of winning but unlike Meliodas, he still has feelings and emotions and he very well remembers all the memories he had with Meliodas. So even if he manages to win here, he won’t kill him. Apart from that, in episode 20, we saw some traction between Escanor and Margaret. In the upcoming episodes, they’ll either resort to violence to settle this or they’ll probably set a peaceful common ground. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see.
