The Seven Deadly Sins Season 4 Episode 23 Spoilers: What to Expect?
In the 22nd episode of ‘The Seven Deadly Sins’, the second Holy war ensues and both sides involved in it mercilessly attack each other. The four archangels arrive and show what they’re capable of doing by easily defeating the demons who dare to come near them. Elizabeth does not directly involve herself in the war but tries her best to cure everyone who’s on her side. Her use of abilities is initially questioned but she explains that she knows that they all have families to go back to. So the only way she can help is by curing their injuries while they fight the battle. In the meantime, two other members of the ten commandments think of giving back their commandments to Zeldris.
In the next episode, the war between good and evil will continue. And when I say good and evil, I’m not even referring to the war between the demons and the archangels. At this point, knowing everything about their past, most viewers will be able to empathize with the demon clan as well. However, this does not mean that evil does not exist at all. While the other ten commandments are trying to do what seems to be right, Zeldris shows no scope of becoming a better person. He is solely driven by his intentions and in the end, he will fall again.
In the previous episodes, it was mentioned more than once that Elizabeth is almost on the brink of dying because of her curse. But strangely, she still seems to be doing just fine. This also means that Meliodas will now have to hurry if she wishes to find a way to break the curse. Moreover, even the commandments will have a major role to play in the upcoming episodes, especially Monspeet. And since he’s trying to give up on his old ways now, it is very likely that he’ll end up supporting the Sins instead of fighting against them. Although the main focus of the series in the present arc is the war that is slowly tearing Britania apart, the next few episodes will probably have some unforeseeable twists that will make you crave another season. Let’s just hope that Season 4 will get a satisfying conclusion.
