Shameless is a comedy-drama series that is created by Paul Abbott and is based on the eponymous British series. The story revolves around the Chicago resident, Frank Gallagher, who is the “proud single dad of six smart, industrious, independent kids, who without him would be…perhaps better off.”

Frank usually wastes the family’s hard-earned cash while being sloshed at the bar. Otherwise, he is normally discovered passed out on the floor. But the kids do know how to progress in their lives and they are “shameless” when it comes to leading lives on their own terms.

Currently, in its 10th season, which premiered on November 10, 2019, the show recently aired its ninth episode on January 5, 2020. If you have already finished watching the last episode, you would want to know where and how you can catch up on episode 10 of Shameless season 10. Read on to know!

Shameless Season 10 Episode 9 Recap:

The ninth episode of Shameless season 10 is titled “O Captain, My Captain”. Showtime describes it as: “Frank returns to the past to figure out his connection to Faye; Carl implements tougher measures to his new cadets; Ian and Mickey find it hard to reconnect.”

Ian wakes up and then witnesses Mickey coming home after being dropped off by another person on a Vespa. Later, Mickey tells that he will be moving into the Vespa-rider’s apartment — leaving Ian shocked. Meanwhile, Ian teams up with Liam to run an errand.

Mickey arrives in his new home, only to mess up the house, much to the annoyance of his new roomie. Ian looks for rings at the Alibi and seeks Liam’s approval. The duo pays for the ring using Aunt Oopie’s stolen credit card. Ian asks Lip for his advice, who tells Ian to marry Mickey before it’s too late.

Ian meets Mickey in his new apartment and the pair has a detailed discussion. Ian offers the ring to Mickey, but things don’t go as planned and the lovers walk away. On the other hand, Debbie also has a new romantic partner Claudia, who asks if she can pick up her daughter at school. Debbie then discloses about her own daughter Franny. Debbie reaches school and meets Julia, who is apparently quite annoying with her non-stop chatter. But the two finally leave on a more affectionate note.

Veronica and Kevin decide to offer their services to the underprivileged people in the South Side while Lip and Tami deal with their hospital bills. Carl is sticking to his mission of training volunteers for the police force.

Well, that’s the entire gist of the last episode. In order to know how the Gallaghers will fare in the future episodes, all you need to do is, opt for any one of the above streaming options and start watching!
