For those who watch television, ‘Supernatural’ is a show that needs no introduction. A dark fantasy show created by initially created by Eric Kripke, ‘Supernatural’ follows brother Sam and Dean Winchester as they battle all things evil. Although the show initially aired on The WB network, it changed hands when The WB merged with UPN in 2006 to create The CW Television Network. As it stands, ‘Supernatural’ airs on The CW.
Season 1 of ‘Supernatural’ first made its way to viewers’ screens on September 13, 2005, and since then, the show has seen a whopping 14 seasons air, and is currently the longest-running live-action fantasy series in the history of American television. The show enjoys critical acclaim and tremendous popularity among viewers, and the good news for fans of the show is that ‘Supernatural’ will be returning again with its fifteenth season. However, all good things have to come to an end, and fans will be disheartened to know that Season 15 will be the last we see of Sam and Dean Winchester.
Supernatural Cast: Who is in it?
Over the years, ‘Supernatural’s the show’s cast has seen many changes over the years.
However, the two people who have remained constant over the years are Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, who play the roles of brothers Sam and Dean Winchester. Another cast member who has remained with the show since 2008 is Misha Collins, who plays the role of Castiel, and angel of the Lord.
Other cast members who have played roles in recent seasons include Samantha Smith as Mary Winchester, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as John Winchester, Mark Pellegrino as Lucifer, Ruth Connell as Rowena MacLeod, and Alexander Calvert as Jack.
As far as the final season of the show is concerned, The CW has not made any announcements pertaining to the cast, but of course, Padalecki and Ackles are expected to return for Season 15.
