S.W.A.T Plot: What is it about?

The show follows the Special Weapons and Tactics Team into their daring adventures where every episode is an adrenaline-fueled new case – from trying to arrest the leader of a human trafficking ring to running into the Turkish drug cartel, protecting families of people involved in high-profile cases, and diffusing bombs.

In an episode titled “S.O.S,” the SWAT teams infiltrates a hijacked ship. In another episode, they take down the kidnappers of an internet mogul’s daughter and save diamond merchants from a group of robbers who are picking them clean. In another episode, they deal with a psychotically obsessed fan of a female vlogger. They are forced to relive and revisit the memories of a school shooting when a criminal tries to plan a similar attack, and they have to stop him before he gets too close to turn his plan into action. In one of the episodes, they work hard trying to prevent a terrorist organisation that is trying to use plutonium for destruction. In another episode, we see them trying to safeguard an LGBTQ Pride event when the haters seem to be more violent than was predicted.

When asked Shemar Moore, one of the leading stars of the show to say something about the series, he said, ”We’re dealing with racism, we’re dealing with fear issues from all ethnicities versus blue. Hopefully, that ‘versus’ by watching S.W.A.T., over time, we can create a little more understanding, a little more compassion, between blue and civilians — all civilians.” He was extremely excited about the show which he expressed by saying, “It’s a thrill ride, no joke. Justin Lin directed the pilot — it’s just insane, it’s non-stop. You’re not going to the bathroom, you’re not going to fill up your drink, you’re just going to sit on the couch and go, ‘Will these commercials, please stop because we need to see what this is.’”
