The Good Doctor is an American medical drama television series based on the 2013 award-winning South Korean series of the same name. The series debuted on September 25, 2017. The Good Doctor received mixed to positive reviews from critics, with particular praise given to Highmore’s performance, and strong television ratings. Someone also said that disabled people shouldn’t be shown as “superheroes”. That is an insult to all amazing disabled people such as Hellen Keller and Stephen Hawking. The people who trashed this show are probably neurotypicals with no sympathy for those with setbacks, whether mental or physical.
The Good Doctor Season 2 Cast: Who’s in it?
The series stars Freddie Highmoreas Shaun Murphy, a young savant autistic surgical resident at San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital. Antonia Thomas, Nicholas Gonzalez, Beau Garrett, Hill Harper, Richard Schiff, and Tamlyn Tomita also star in the show. Highmore’s character delivers a mesmerising performance, keeping the viewer captivated throughout each episode.
Chuku Modu, who played Dr Jared Kalu, did not return for the second season, following the season one finale that saw him receive an offer from a hospital in Colorado. Will Yun Lee, Fiona Gubelmann, Christina Chang and Paige Spara had all been promoted to series regulars for season two. Other cast members who could be seen in season 3 include Antonia Thomas, Nicholas Gonzalez, Hill Harper, Tamlyn Tomita, Richard Schiff. among others.
